At the moment a virus is curculating through e-mail attachements, if you get a mail similar to the following....

I send this file for your advice.

then DO NOT open the attachment, it may look real but its not, please go to this address for info on cleaning your pc if u have opened a similar file then downloaded the attachment

ha ha, im just saying that if u updated a couple of minutes ago and it still cant find the virus then its a bit crap considering most other scanners do find it, please look at the link if u dont believe me.

Where as people using computer based software running on ure PC (eg outlook), please remember to scan and attachments as it doesnt do this automatically.

nope, its the software, maybe they havent caught on about it yet. Remember, just coz its the best known for what it does, doesnt mean its the best!

By the way, any1 with hotmail or similar accounts should be ok as the built in software finds the virus b4 u download it.

Perhaps it isn't the software (Norton AntiVirus), but the computer. It's the worst one EVER.

maybe ure AV software isnt very good, think about changing it!

I just updated my AV software a few minutes ago, and then checked Symantecs website (http://www.sarc.com) and then checked my updated AV software, and I found absolutely nothing matching that description. The closest one I found was:

Name: Sirius
Infects: COM and EXE files
Likelihood: Rare
Size: 1068 bytes

Characteristics:
Memory resident
Encrypting
