then DO NOT open the attachment, it may look real but its not, please go to this address for info on cleaning your pc if u have opened a similar file then downloaded the attachment

PS U can not tell if ure PC is infected so if u have opened a similar e-mail check to make sure

Yeah, it did have a double extension with prompted me to check with my virus scanner. Weird...

I got a suspect E-Mail so I deleted it. Also, it had double extensions so I knew it was mucked. Wahoo! My first virus.

Yeah, watch out for this virus. I have a lot of office work stored on my computer. When an e-mail comes from my boss, with an official office file attached to it, it really does look authentic. Lucky I have my virus scanner!

Thanks loads for that. Now I know what to look out for, because my AV software is on the fritz.

The same virus is also circulating in an email about "Your Family Tree", watch out for it! I got sent it, but didn't download the attachment!

I am hungover... just washed 32 glasses and check mail... accidently open attachment as I thought it was mate asking me about music then it spotted it and I panicked and deleted it... I hope I'm ok :-)

Okay ,okay, it's my software. But that brings up a problem then.
Don't laugh, but:
my mum won't let me change the software. She says:
"It's good enough and you never know what problems you'll get by changing it."

Do u have any idea how PC's work?? There is no way that ure PC hardware configuration can interfere with what types of virus's ure scanner can find. I promise u, its the software.
