Hey, lets hear it for the Austrian Oak...!!!

He may not be the best Oscar-winning actor ever, but he has given us some kick-ass action films, so lets see what you think his TOP FIVE BEST ACTION FILMS are, and also name one dud film which would even make Arnie cringe...

These are mine:

3) TRUE LIES

And the duff one: JINGLE ALL THE WAY

Commando may be a pile of smelly brown stuff, but as a typical 80`s action movie, it certainly entertains. Its funny that another person says Arnie is improving, but my choices leave out more modern films like End of Days and The 6th Day simply because I feel he is actually getting WORSE!!!.

Now his next picture, Critical Damage, is set to return he to gun-toting Terminator form and therefore more like the Arnie of old. However I can`t help but think its title is a warning to film reviewers & pundits out there waiting to pan it...

All joking aside, I think Arnie has come a long way as an actor. When you look at Total Recall (about 12 years old now?) and Sixth Day from last year, there's a clear contrast. In both movies, he's supposed to be an ordinary family guy who gets embroiled in larger events. In Total Recall, he's thoroughly unbelievable in this role (and not just because his brain's been messed with by the bad guys on Mars!), whereas in Sixth Day, he actually puts in a convincing performance. Credit where credit's due - the guy has improved his skills.

Oh no, I forgot about Red Heat. That was about 5 times worse than Commando. There were a few lines in it which were 'okay' but they would have been 'good' if Bill Murray had said them. He should have been in Belushi's role.

Let me just make a few comments on Commando Borgdrone.

My first comment is that it is awful.

My second comment is that they used the same stunt man to die 13 times (or close enough). Not only did they use this same man, but thay also chose a man who had the biggest mustache known to man so it was blatantly obvious that it was the same guy jumping into the air when somebody got shot. You would have thought they would have at least told him to shave his mustache off.

My final comment is that the bad guy (the australian) is the worst bad guy in the history of films and has never (and never will have) another role in his life.

Now I'd like to say that Jingle all the way is funny.

Now that that's out of the way, I'd like to get on with my favourite Arnie films.

And a duff film. Hmmmmmmm.....Conan the Destroyer was pretty poor but it had cool music so it's not that. End of Days was fairly abysmal but I think the title has to go to Commando for being absolutely awful.

On closer inspection......dese are loafers....

I just bought "The Terminator" special edition a few days ago, the only problem is, I can't watch them untill the DVD Decoder card comes that my dad ordered from Special Reserve a few days ago (Out of stock) WHY!!.
