The N64 was always the best at creating water effects with games like waverace, I mean lets face it the PSone just CAN'T create any kind of water look at rapid racer haha oh man that's bad, but the PS2 has now arrived and looking at the graphical demo on the free disc I was STUNNED at the water effects the PS2 is capable of.
Over on the videogames site have a look at waverace on the gamecube which shows some pretty nice water ripples and has a great game too but then compare it to the upcoming splashdown on the PS2, OH MY is all i can say, I don't think anythng will top that for a long time, Lets just hope it has a game as good as the graphics to back it up.

Wave Storm... sounds a lot like Wave Race: Blue Storm to me. Ninty's lawyers will have something to say about that.
Wave Race are hoping that Kawasaki are backing them up with sponsorship, otherwise the devlopers can use the words "Jet Ski" in the game, as it is officlially licensed by Kawasaki.

the water effects in splashdown are clearly stunning and i think are far better than waverace's, but I already know the orginal waverace was a great game but haven't the slightest idea if splashdown will have a good game behind it all. hope so.

What is splash down? What do you have to do in it?
splashdowns watter effects should be better than Waveraces effects becasue splash down is coming out a year afterr launch while Waverace is a launch title.
