I have decided. I will get a Xbox over the GC. Don't ask me why or anything I just have. :)

But now comes the dredful part of acually SAVING up for the console itself, and im figuring I better start saving now in order to have enough at launch day for the console and a few games.

I remember the last time I had to save up. Two months paper round pay, a playstation+games and all my birthday money was required to get my DC( It was worth it too).

*groans* Let the saving commence.

Of course, nby the time you'll have grovelled for that £300, you would think to yourself: Xbox with no games, or GC with 2 or 3 good ones? Or maybe by the time you have reached the £200 mark, you will have probably thought, "Stuff it, I'm getting a Gamecube." Do you see?
