It got a really bad kicking by the press, but I reckon it's a good film, one to watch with a lady. I've seen it at the piccies and now I have it on DVD and I can't see anything abhorrently wrong with it - it's stylish, it has substance, I think the problem may be that the book wasn't apparently up to much.

The DVD rocks, if you like extras, you'll like this. Recommended by Snuggly and the News Monkey.

do you ever see him eat any humans? you see him bite the nurse in 'Hannibal' just before his arm gets broken, but he never eats anyone.
he does talk about it though "I ate his liver with a bottle of kiante - Hannibal makes funny noise"

I've just thought of something. In both films, you never actually see Hannibal eat any brains, he's just feeds it to others. Or am I wrong?

I thought it was a good film, the brain eating part definatly sticks out in my mind.
it's not in anyway a comedy and shouldn't be treated as one, but it's not so much a sequel to Silence of the Lambs as i'd hoped for, but would it be possible to make a sequel to such a film!? I still can't imagine hannibal as gay! even though he gave the scared face guy poppers! lol.

I thought Hannibal was excellent - Not quite as good as Silence of the Lambs but then that was a classic!!

I REALLY want to like the film, i loved both books!! Plus the DVD extras look great.

Please don`t take my comments completely in the negative Goatboy, I did forget to mention i was down with a heavy cold as well, which did not help boost my mood.

But i also think that perhaps walking out was not the best thing to do, so its second chance time with the DVD...
