If Sony had allowed the camera to zoom then you could have your whole body on screen instead of just your upper half. This would open up a world of new things to do;

Sure, Eyetoy Groove is fun with all those licenced songs, but what you really want is to see your whole body on the screen, legs flying all over the place and arms waving like a monkey on steroids. Just imagine having to provide accurate movements to the Cheeky Girls song or doing the Timewarp and being marked out of 10.

Yeah, you can beat up a robot on the eyetoy, but how about going against a real boxer in the ring and being able to move your whole body around? Go up against Tyson (watch your ears), Bruno in a pantomine costume and many others. You could even try kick-boxing and if you're in to hugging big sweaty men, you could try wrestling.

Why not let yourself go with a full body Eyetoy version of Grand Theft Auto Vice City? You may not be able to drive, but wonder around picking up weapons and challenging the police.

FPS games will seem boring after playing this. Face your enemy head on over broadband and actually see them as you blow them to bits. Watch the glory as you frag all your mates rather than a boring computer created character.

Still the huge success will no doubt meant that there will be an Eyetoy for the PS3.
I knew a couple of guys who put themselves into Unreal. Took quite a lot of work, but it was very funny watching them play it.
