I thought of this great idea. Why isn't there a game where you can play football with weapons?
It would be like an ordinary football game but you could use weapons like shotguns, machine guns, chainsaws etc. I think it's a great idea because you could hack limbs off players(obviously not suitable for little kids). And every time your team scores a goal, they get to select a new weapon!

hmmm....i think my m8 used to have that.
Does anyone remember a Sensible Soccer demo, where you played as England V Germany and the ball was a grenade and it used to blow up and it ended up about 8 a side?
Rumour is that the PS2 will have a football games with no rules, doubt it will have weapons but sounds like it will be anything goes no ref style football.
Sounds very much like the old Amiga games BRUTAL SPORTS FOOTBALL and WILD CUP FOOTBALL, based on American football and best described as a mix of traditional sports game and Speedball 2.

If a match was a draw at full time, instead of penalties you could have a gunslinger-style shot-out. That's if any players were still alive.
