"Football+weapons=fun!"

I thought of this great idea. Why isn't there a game where you can play football with weapons?

It would be like an ordinary football game but you could use weapons like shotguns, machine guns, chainsaws etc. I think it's a great idea because you could hack limbs off players(obviously not suitable for little kids). And every time your team scores a goal, they get to select a new weapon!

I was just thinking of that exact demo when I saw this thread! It was a cover disk off Amiga Format, I played it for ages.

The goalkeeper had his own machine gun. I think it was a one-off special Christmas level.

What About Speedball And Dead Ball Zone ?

already been done i think. i remember playing a demo of cannon soccer which was SWOS and cannon fodder mixed into one. there was tanks, soldiers and bombs dropping from helicopters. you had any players left alive at the end then you'd have been doing excellently

Someone please make this game!!

Just pop off to a pub sunday league game. You get everything you could want from a brutal footballing experience: bad language, drunken brawls and usually a small dog that runs onto the pitch and attacks someone.

This one's not so bad but still no thought has really gone into it.

The writer hasn't given a proper idea how the game would work, some thing they'd learn to do by reading more experienced posters and getting writing experience in the forums.

I had an American football game on my Amiga with this idea, but you had swords and chopped your opponant's heads of and kicked them into the goals! :D the bad thing was i kept on getting my butt kicked by some strange lizards, they were good but I eventually beat them! ha ha!

It could be called "Soccer Battle Unlimited", and have a mug-shot of Vinny Jones on the cover.

A strange game . Sounds fun . What about walls an the pitch ? And they would pop up now and again everywhere , so you would have to dodge .
