Well, what are you views, which do prefer to play and why? i ordered rainbow but then see the price crash to £17 for a new copy so i cancelled my order and paid £28 for counter strike instead. My view is that CS is pure and simple fun and a great pc port, however, it is showing its age in the visuals department! I was worried R6 3 might be a bit too slow and stealthy rather than a good fun old fashioned shoot out like CS is?
What do you guys think?

Because you won't. It might be free but you also get hackers, nerds, terrible functionality and many other crap things as part of the package.

With the Xbox version you just slap it in your Xbox and you're away. No searching around for servers, no configuring of video cards and other bollards.

Oh and no mouse and keyboard.

Counter strike is really grown on me lately and bullet and i have some great games :D but rainbow six is generally better in the long run with better gfx, sound and multiplayer options but counter strike always has a certain edge over it with the buying feature and the big maps you can battle over.

RS3. Why buy Counter Strike on Xbox when you can get it for next to nothing on PC and have a much better time playing it?

I'd definitely go for RS3. It is very realistic for the most part, whereas I think counter strike is more 'arcadey'

Most people who have both will pick RS3. I love Counter Strike, but the Xbox version was just a little disappointing.

Rainbow Six 3 has stealth and strategy in abundance if you play survival matches. Play a sharpshooter (deathmatch) and you can play it as if it was quake.

It has great graphics, fantastic sounds, really good levels.

The single player is also wonderful, it even uses the headset for voice commands.

If you can get RS3 for £17 it is an absolute bargain. I was happy to pay £40 for it.

Counter Srike is the second choice. And at £11 more expensive you've been ripped off.

Dark Mark and Tilta etc will all say RS3 is the better one.

Yeah I'm after a wireless bridge. I'm happy with playing in my room for now though.

Single Player isn't too bad, I was stuck with that when I had the US version. I didn't die so much either!

Still, no point in keeping it if you ain't going to use it!
