I've known countless Playstation owners who'd never those an N64 over their own machine but loved Goldeneye and Mario Kart 64 and couldn't get enough of it.
I'd never buy a Playstation but I'd still would've liked to have played through games like Final Fantasy and Metal Gear Solid.
For every system you played but never owned, list the 5 games you missed the most on it.
I'll start.
I've had an Amiga, a Master System and an N64.
On the Snes:
Super Mario world - One of the greatest 2D platformers ever.
Donkey Kong Country - THE greatest 2D platformer ever!
Final Fantasy 3 - A great RPG I only played a bit of.
Metroid - Never played it but everywhere I hear how great it was.
Zelda - Having played it's N64 sequel, I really want to play this one.
There was the Mega Drive:
Sonic 1 - Played the inferior Master System Version and always wanted it's better counterpart.
Sonic 2 - Like the first only better.
Sonic 3 - I was really into Sonic, I would've bought the Mega Drive but I never got the chance...
Sonic and Knuckles - Well the others weren't complete without this one.
Fifa - Fifa was good in the days of the Mega Drive. It was a good 3 years before it got stupid.
I never played a Saturn (although I know of a fair few titles that are meant to be good, e.g. Nights and Panza Dragoon)
The Dreamcast (Which I would've bought had I not played Goldeneye!):
Sonic Adventure - I hardly need tell you...
Crazy Taxi - Brilliant idea, brilliant game. It also reminded me that Americans drive on the right hand side :-D
Shenmue - Not actually played it but seen enough of it to know I'd like it.
Phantasy Star Online - I won't miss out on this one though. It's on the Gamecube too.
Sonic Adventure 2 - ...
There's the Playstation:
Crash Bandicoot - This was Donkey Kong Country gameplay with a neat 3D twist.
Final Fantasy 7 - I got sucked into the story line at a friends house but never got to go very far. The unfinished story is killing me...
Metal Gear Solid - Very unique and original game.
Teken 3 - The N64 never did get a serious beat-em up.
Point Blank - I thought that this game was stupid and rubbish until I played it at the arcades. Dangerously addictive!
I've not played any PS2 titles yet but I'm sure there's some fair ones around too.
> You also really need to play Skies of Arcadia, on the Dreamcast.
> Actually, go buy a Dreamcast, you won't regret it once you play
> SOA.
I won't regret it after Sonic Adventure let alone Shenmue, Skies of Arcadia, Resident Evil, Crazi Taxi etc...
If only I had the money :-D
> I have a SNES, Amiga, N64, Playstation, Saturn, and a slow 200Mhz
> PC.
I had a Megadrive but sold it.
The games I miss therefore
> are mainly on the Dreamcast, Playstation 2 and ofcourse a high
> specced PC, these are listed below
Dreamcast
House of the Dead - Very good
Soul Caliber - Excellent
Resident Evil Code Veronica - Very Good
Shenmue - Brillian Game
Crazy Taxi - Very decent arcade game
Jet Set Radio - Even though it's cartoony, it rules
Playstation2
Onimusha
Tekken Tag Tournament
TimeSplitters
Devil May Cry
PC
The Sims - very addictive
Black and White - very addictive too
Max Payne
These are games I would love to play, or in the case of some Ive played briefly at friends houses would like to play longer!
In my next GAD, I'll get either Max Payne, Sims House Party or FF9. Can't decide.

I bought a DC when they first came out and never regretted it for a minute. I'm waiting to see the first (reliable) second hand PS2s (I know somewhere I can get one cheap, but I don't trust it...) I may get a Gamecube new if they turn out to actually be as cheap as Nintendo say, and then wait for the Xbox to go on the second hand market. (carefully looks to make sure FM isn't around when he says the last bit)
I don't like missing out, but waiting is fine and all the games are usually cheaper by the time I get the other consoles (SR have some excellent deals on N64 stuff) so I'm happy so far with my method.
Ahhhh... don't have time.
