This list includes all the Notables who have voted. No Notable has voted for any other candidate. My inclination is that he could have got Meka's vote too.

I very pleased to say therefore that pb is being given the status of notable.

There will be one other notable chosen too.

In future votes only regulars and notables will be allowed to vote and hopefully this will remove some of the concerns expressed this time (concerns which I understand but I don't think are outside the rules).

as did I, pretty reasonably I thought. I like you Goatboy, you're a good poster and the reason why I wasn't happy wanting to be a notable unless everyone was happy.

I realise why you felt you had to bring the topic up, but it was addressed several times by Tony as well in different topics.

True, that wasn't exactly what I meant mate, but I know you did, and I appreciated it.

I'm not seeking validation, just would have been nice for someone to answer that could explain the points I raised.

Well, speaking purely for myself, I wasn't whinging.
I was saying, over and over, that I'm happy for pb.
I think the manner in which is was decided is an absolute joke.
I do find it interesting that nobody except for Meka has answered my queries and concerns that I had.
Perhaps if I shout and scream like an infant, someone will listen? It sure beats being articulate and reasonable in voicing my concerns.

Except for when a majority consists of 1 person deciding that the votes of 5 others means more than the votes of the rest of the forum?
I'm not trying to stir anything up, this is a forum that I use when I'm at work, there are bigger and more important things that I can do.
However, I enjoy posting here.
A nice community, great people and it's fun.
Except when someone voices a concern, in a perfectly reasonable manner, and is labelled a "whinger" (if that was aimed at me).

Yes - this is my fault and I have always included it previously. It must be the pressure of work.

Hmmmmm......

Basically, pb DESERVES to be a Notable, whichever way you put it. I think Tony concentrated more on Notables' votes as we've been here longer than most, and I guess you could say that we know who posts well and who doesn't.

I expect if pb hadn't been as busy lately, he would've been on the forums more, and he would've got more votes.
