120 =)I had to send it Special Next Day Delivery which cost me £4.10 :( (¬_¬ more money into Kawada's pocket) to make sure they sign for it and I have all the proof I sent it.
After 14 days I'll take them to court. It's likely they'll offer me a bit of it back (Maybe £50) before the 14 days are up and put it straight into my account regardless. I'll then accept it as part payment but I'll tell them I'm still taking them to court for the rest of it. Well lets be honest, if you owed a bank money they would expect you to pay all of it, wouldnt they?
After turning down their offer I then take it to my local court, which I think is in Cheltenham or Gloucester. Then I contact Barclaycard again and give them the court details and then I sit and wait. =)
It's very likely they'll offer me a complete refund at the last minute before the court date but if it does go to court, then I'll turn up and win by default because they'll never turn up =). It would be suicide for them if they did, I mean, how could they justify charging me £24 for something that realistically costs them less than £4? It would end up in the papers again and then even more people would want their money back. Which is what they don't want.
It's not so bad if it goes to court (which'll cost me £30) because then I can charge them interest and have them pay my court fees aswell as my £120 =D
I'll keep you guys updated on how things go. :)

Does anyone else have any ridiculous charges (other charges too not just late and over limit charges) from their bank? credit card? store card? etc in the last 6 years? Even if they reduced it from £20+ to £12 you can still claim it all back.
I was smart enough to save all my statements over the last 3 years, as I've always wanted to get the money back. Okay if I was smart I wouldnt have got these charges in the first place, but 2 of the 5 of them I got because I paid my bill at the bank the day before the due date, which didn't matter to them and still charged me £48. ¬_¬
If you don't have 6 years worth of statements don't worry you can get them, though it might cost you £10. Which is obviously worth it even if they owe a lot more than that.
A lot of people have been claiming back £1000s :S some from several companies as well. The lowest I've seen claimed back is just £20. The highest was £15,000.
> I probably will eventually.
Also buy £100 worth of premium bonds =) It's like buying 100 lottery tickets except you dont lose the £100. Most of the interest from all this money is given away as prizes. So if you leave that £100 alone you might win several times. maybe £50,000? Or even a million. Prizes are given out each month I think.
> Hope you take out the BCard and get all your money back!
Thanks hippyman, I'm sure I will. I could use the other £60 right now =D
Hope you take out the BCard and get all your money back!

Thank's hippyman :) you should put some of that into a savings bank or an ISA. I left £30 in a Cash ISA once and got £3 something after a year.
Thieves the banks are. I get somehing like 5p in interest a year on my £1000 I've got stashed. It's awful.
At the end of the week after next, I have to file my case at my local court. Hopefully the court date wont be too far away so they can hurry up and give me a complete refund.
Because they gave me back £60 already my minimum payment has gone from £9 to £7 a month =) Hopefully when I get it all back it'll go down to £6 a month.
Okay it's been 6 days since I sent my 14 day letter telling them to refund me my £120. It was suppose to arrive on the 13th but for some reason the Royal Mail website still doesnt have a delivery date or a signature.
Well I know they received it because I just got a letter from Barclaycard today.
It's one of their standard letters, "we feel £24 charges were both fair and transparent but as a gesture of goodwill and without any admission of liability we're going to give you half the money back after the £12 fee the Office of Frair Trading recommended".
So woo! my first victory. It just took one letter and a few days for them to give me half the money back. They have already credited my account with £60.
Unfortunately for them, I don't think £12 is fair either. It wasn't a recommendation and they can only charge me what it really costs them when I go over my limit or pay late. It actually costs them less than £4, but they cant ever admit that because they made so much money from charging people £24 and now £12.
So now I send them a refusal letter, giving them 7 days extra (March 7th) to give me the rest of the £60 or I take it to court. Which I will =)

Very sensible.
At-least bring back Deaton and Moore so we can laugh at them laughing all the way to their (alternative) banks.
Hope the thing with the Barclay-cads works out, btw.
