I just had a great idea. use this forum to chat about the elections, it'll make it easier for SR to calculate the votes if we're not chatting in there.

I would agree that some people may have been influenced in their voting by this TSQ nonsense which went on during the week, but that is their choice. But none of the TSQ member could claim that they weren't warned I told SnoopDoggyDan, Ortega and Seifer that Tony may not be very pleased about this apparent voting ring, and that appears to be what happened. You can argue till you are blue in the face that it was their own decision, but it does look a bit fishy.

I wont take the spam note personally but in the 60 days I have been here, I have obviously appealed to the 4 people who have voted for me, I think that I have added something to the site (and it is not spam, have you followed the activity of spam over the last few days MJ, you don't seem to have done!) I have obviously appealed to someone at SR because I have 1 GAD to my credit.
And just a question, are you getting at me because I'm doing so well in my first election? Votes are votes, they all count one way or another! If I can appeal to 4 people in this election, how well can I do in my next election??
The people who decided to vote for me are not sadacts that like to spam, these people have stopped spamming and they are now respectable posters, so don't call my friends sadacts!

Yep, I make a habit of not posting a load of crap everyday instead of proper topics or replies every couple of days. If I don't have anything useful or constructive to say, then I won't say it.
If you look at the topics I started, then you will see that I have posted quite a few over a long period of time, but I mostly like to reply in length to other people's posts, so yes, I do post quite often for someone that has to spend time earning enough money to live and have food on the table rather than worrying where the next game will come from. This is why I'm always pleased to win FAD or GAD, but don't mind if someone else does.
Unfortunately life is such that I have to go out to work rather than being able to sit at home all day on the computer. Would that it was different...
