I look at the winners page everyday as I enter cheats, reviews and opinion. So when I see the winners I am some-what disappointed and then I have a look to see how they won so I can improve next time. And I look at there's and think there rubbish and how did they win.
So is it just me or do you agree?

Is that the only rule??
2. You'll only enjoy life by overcoming the challenge. (People who expect or demand anything are always unhappy)

They're not issued on those days but you can of course still win them on those days.
If it helps, then:
SR staff please note that I do not wish my previous post in this topic to be considered for GAD under any circumstances.
Did they deserve to win? I don't know, and to be honest, I don't care.
For whatever reason - whether it be because they thought it was informative, humourous, or even because they stuck a pin in a list of that day's posts - the judges chose my particular post on that particular day, and everyone else should just learn to deal with it, just as I have on the other 360 days of the year that I haven't won anything.
Though we all like to be modest when we do win, the number of "I should have won" posts has gone up significantly in recent months, which shows that a lot of people are here with the intention of winning, and little else.
I have posted messages occasionally which, while giving genuine discussion points, have been 'tailored' more towards a GAD win. None of them has ever won - but I didn't start moaning about it on here, even before I'd ever won. All of my wins have come from posts which were simply replies to other people's topics, or posts made with no thought of GAD in mind. Except one of the FADs, which was for pointing out an issue with SR's web site.
Honestly, I find the amount of bitching over this recently - aimed at SR, the staff and the methods they use - quite sickening. There have even been (what I percieve as) thinly veiled attacks and personal insults hurled at certain members of the staff, and that is simply not acceptable.
SR are a damned good company who give there customers a good deal more than most others. Most of the regulars on these forums know this, and many of their regular customers will also know that they are treated well and receive good service. How many other internet/mail order companies have the actual owner joining in with the everyday activities and chatting with the customers?
Ali said several days ago that he sometimes wonders why they bother, and I have to say, so do I. I personally would have pulled the competition some time ago, because so many people seem to be turning into ungrateful, spoiled brats.
So, you may have written an amazing post, but they picked something else. You may have discovered and fully explained the meaning of life, but if the person judging today is feeling peed off and someone elses post makes them laugh with a fart joke, maybe they'll give it to them instead. Any other day, you'd have won hands down - but not today. Crap happens - deal with it and move on.
Personally, if ANY of you are here simply the thought of winning a freebie at the front of your mind, then I hope you fail consistently, no matter how good your posts are.
If, on the other hand, you're here primarily to take part in the discussions, contribute to the overall atmosphere of the forums and generally have a bit of fun, with a free game just as a possible bonus, then I wish you many wins.
After me, of course! ;-)
