Could someone PLEASE help me with some bits of Final Fantasy X?!

Firstly, where can I find a Tonberry?

Secondly, how do I beat Penance? (WITHOUT ZANMATO)

Thirdly, why can't I get Magic to do over 9,999 Damage, even with Break Damage Limit?

Any help would be very welcome, particularly for the secon one.

Well seeing as we're talking about FFX here, one of the easiest RPG's ever, i wouldn't have thought it either.

Indeed.
Although, looking at some of the optional bosses, it can be one of the hardest as well.

Although if you get Yojimbo then you can just mow down the optional bosses as well.

Easy? Oh well, this IS my first 3D FF game, so I suppose I'm just not used to it. Besides, I know what the easiest RPG ever is - FFI or FFVI in my opinion.

play more RPG's and you'll soon be putting this right up there as the easiest one of the lot. I'm a RPG nut so i'm lucky enough to have played lots of games of this genre and, in my opinion anyway, this was probably the easiest i've played.

playing through that at the moment (took me a while to get to it due to FFX-2 and Xenosaga and other assorted games) i'll tell you once i'm done with it.

however unless in the final battle of FF1 it's not virtually impossible to lose then the easiest game award for me will still go to FFX. How can you have a final battle where unless you're a total moron you cannot lose? It's meant to be the big finale, the hardest part of the game, the sole reason you've spent weeks of your life fighting random battles to level up not some boss that even when he kills you, you just get brought straight back to life.
