yes, we spam useless topics and will spam nothing seroius unless the topic is dead.

OK, I'll explain:
I'm downloading a huge file at the moment and it makes browsing really slow. I can only access a few topics every now and again and it was really peeing me off to get into a topic and find it was just spam.
I wanted to get yo guys to stop quickly, and this was the best option. And it worked though, dinnit!
One more thing, Tony isn't going to ban you. He doesn't mind spamming and you really have to spam hard to get yourselves banned. Just look at the WABBIT compo!
Anyway, there's my explanation.
