Yes, it`s been done before.
No, it won`t be as lond as the FOG version.

Why am I trying it out anyway?

The PS2 forum is a very interesting place to be, but it can also be a little quiet. I though perhaps if we had a topic with several hundred replies lurking at the top, things would look more popular.

Feel free to use the topic to talk about anything. Either the latest PS2 game, latest ideas for including some female star in a game etc... or even just the usual chat that happens all over.

As I expect this to fail, I`ve decided to spend a little while pushing up the replies. No spamming, just lots of nonsense :-)

Any help would be great, it`d be boring to have a whole topic with replies from only me.

Morning,

Despite the sun being out already I'm blinking frozen at the moment :(

Still the weekend is here again but I need to start reading my uni books again as we go back on Monday evening.

What have you done with her? She's not under the patio is she?

hamish90 - send your son round to mine when you've finished with him. I don't have the patience to get past the initial bike ride :)

Hi. Evening.
Jive wrote> what mission are you doing?

I have only just started yesterday and am on the first mission for Ryder. Which mission are you on? I've got a long weekend so i think i will be doing somethings with my son tomorrow and at night the wife is going out for a birthday party with some of her mates so i will get peace to play the ps2 for once. Maybe i should let the son play a few missions instead of me doing them all the time.:)

It's just the ability to play games at the moment without having to sneak around the wife and turn the sound down... :)

At around £20 per UMD I don't blame you 'aquiring' a copy.

It's the same old 'change of format' price-hike.

Ah but that's easy to say and harder to prove :)

No worries - I'm not going to winge about your 'copy' - but when does the English one actually get released? Cannot be bothered to search for the info.

Jive - leave pb alone. He sounds just like a kid in a candy shop :)

Morning!

Was ill yesterday, which wasn't good, but it gave me a chance to play Burnout Legends. Amazing game, you just can't believe that they can fit so much into a handheld. Go buy it now!

So I get back into work today and find a pile of stuff to do (nothing new), oh well, back to work...

Morning all

Sleepy, that's great news on your dog and I can understand what they've said about the foreign body in his paw .. poor chap.

I remember the days of the auditors .. always writing in green and red pen, moaning at you if you'd used green or red ... plus I don't remember ever seeing one decent female auditor .. which is strange.

Frag, yeah my amp has a digital input so I shouldn't have any problem getting it hooked up and running, all I've gotta worry about is sitting as far away from the TV to enjoy it :)

Mornin all,

Jive as long as you've got pro logic II on your amp it sould be fine. Works wonders for the lack of 5.1 on the PS2. :) Enjoy

Glad to hear the old dogs ok Sleepy, any ideas what the problem was in the end? Edit Must reads posts more clearly!

Managed to 'aquire' a copy of FF: Advent Children and watch it last night, i won't give anything away, but it really is impressive. I just hope the don't stuff up the english voiceovers when it comes out over here, as Japanese + subtitles works fine. (And before you all winge about pirate blah blahs i've already preordered the Jap version, and shall do the same to the english version when it hits our shores)

Morning,

Oooh envious! Both of playing through a large TV and the fact that anyone can get past the initial stage of that game.

I was working hard yesterday - last minute paperwork for the auditor but he's here already so I've handed all my books over to him. Change of hats and I'm off into the stores instead. By that I mean the stock room unfortunately not the shoe shops.

Dog is doing much better and as long as he keeps improving he'll not need an op. Apparantly the foreign body in his toe could be so small there is no guarantee it would be seen on an X-ray and no guarantees that if they operated they would find it either.

That's it for now. Off for another cup of tea and a browse around - just on the off chance that I missed something stunning yesterday.
