Why am I trying it out anyway?
The PS2 forum is a very interesting place to be, but it can also be a little quiet. I though perhaps if we had a topic with several hundred replies lurking at the top, things would look more popular.
Feel free to use the topic to talk about anything. Either the latest PS2 game, latest ideas for including some female star in a game etc... or even just the usual chat that happens all over.
As I expect this to fail, I`ve decided to spend a little while pushing up the replies. No spamming, just lots of nonsense :-)

Capcom are just a pain in the..., simple as that really ;-)
on the plus side, the remake is looking mighty fine indeed,70% of the game is new teritory so it's gona be huge :-)

Don't forget that Capcom made Street Fighter and Devil May Cry.........
That's what I thought. It's good for the 'cube, no doubt about it - but is it good for Capcom? PS fans have been loyal to them for years thanks to the RE series, and it's a bit of a kick in the teeth to Sony.
Mikami's comment about having the series on one platform doesn't wash, either - if that was your reasoning, you'd go with the PlayStation as every RE title to date is already on that platform.
I noticed though that - when pressed on the matter - a Capcom spokesman was very quick to say that it was "only for six games", of which 4 are remakes and three of those will be no more than a quick port.
I have a feeling that Sony may have voiced less than favourable opinions to Capcom behind the scenes. I do hope that they move to make Onimusha and DMC PlayStation exclusives. Sure, Onimusha is in development on other platforms, but then RE4 was heavily in development for PS2 before the Gamecube announcement was made.
