Why am I trying it out anyway?

The PS2 forum is a very interesting place to be, but it can also be a little quiet. I though perhaps if we had a topic with several hundred replies lurking at the top, things would look more popular.

Feel free to use the topic to talk about anything. Either the latest PS2 game, latest ideas for including some female star in a game etc... or even just the usual chat that happens all over.

As I expect this to fail, I`ve decided to spend a little while pushing up the replies. No spamming, just lots of nonsense :-)

Any help would be great, it`d be boring to have a whole topic with replies from only me.

Pathethic, and exactly the sort of posts that ruins this forum. I was tempted to say something about it earlier but after what Pro Evo said last night decided not to.

I know how you feel i have been here longer than most over 400 days and visit the site most days but have been put off by the vast number of new topics each day and i cannot keep up. So i have posted very little and find myself bitting my tongue rather than say things because I am only a Newbie according to SR rules.

We have been swaping info about GTA3 for a number of days and like you say I have probably posted about 20% of my total posts during that time. It would be very easy to post crap like a lot of other people have to get to regular status but it means nothing to me. I more important things going on in my life. I use the forum to gleam information about games. This forum made me get GTA3 and stopped me from getting Smackdown 3. So i can serve a useful purpose. This thread should be for chat and the rest like Pro Evo says for exchanging information, not chatter between friends that can be exchanged in the classroom.

I know what you mean about the whole forum, it's great to find a topic that you can actually find stuff out. The 3 topics that are related to GTA3 have been great over the last week or so, found out some really good info which helps in enjoying the game so much more.

I think I've posted more on those three topics in the last 5 days than I have since I first joined all those days ago.

That is what this place is for, and it really should just be this place, but its not. Its gone through the whole forum and thats all i was saying.

In the last 5 pages I know you haven't posted much but the endless posts of "hello" etc well I thought the topic was for general chat but perhaps I missed the point.

I can see why you said what you said, I've just looked at my post and I realise now, perhaps I should just get the **** outta this topic and stick to asking the question I've been getting answers to.

I did manage to answer 1 question asked by uk_vamp and thought maybe the conversation would have continued.....oh well....life is as they say a bit**

I totally agree with jive, people do spam a lot on here, its for posting not chatting.
