Why am I trying it out anyway?

The PS2 forum is a very interesting place to be, but it can also be a little quiet. I though perhaps if we had a topic with several hundred replies lurking at the top, things would look more popular.

Feel free to use the topic to talk about anything. Either the latest PS2 game, latest ideas for including some female star in a game etc... or even just the usual chat that happens all over.

As I expect this to fail, I`ve decided to spend a little while pushing up the replies. No spamming, just lots of nonsense :-)

Any help would be great, it`d be boring to have a whole topic with replies from only me.

Valentino, yes I'm aware of what the problem is, I've looked at the language before and it still doesn't work, I'll see whether Neos solution works later tonight.

My car started making a load of hideous noises underneath. It turns out the brakes were practically non-existent, one of my ball-joints had broke and my front passenger side Suspension arm needs repair. All this and I've only had the thing for just over a Month.

It's all under control now and my Dad has lent me his car until mine is back. Almost got ripped off by £400 too!

I've had my eye on the 206 for a long time now but this new C2 GT grabbed my attention and I've been checking out ever since. You get a year's free insurance too if you buy before 31st March (I doubt I'll be able to buy by that time though :( ).

Jive, not sorted your keybaord problem ? the problem is that it is set up as English (American) not English (UK?)

The fun and games have started.

Just received a call from our solicitors to say that they are still having a problem with the building society and the missing confirmation (faxed for the 3rd time yesterday to them). As they say they ahve not received this confirmation , they have ordered a further reinspection for this morning (they can get stuffed if they think I am paying again)and will not release the funds.

My solicitor is tearing his hair out with them.

Fingers are crossed mate :)

Spoke to the Solicitor on my way home last night, he has spoken to the Building Society and they are happy with the reinspection (I bet they are, £50 for nothing) and he has faxed them a copy of a letter he has already sent them 3 times before (not a good sign). He was reasonable confident that the funds will arrive today, as long as we complete before 5.00pm tonight so we can get the keys so start early in the morning I will be happy. We shall wait and see what the day brings.

I keep eyeing up the new Citroen C2 GT, as well as the Pug 206. It all depends how much I come out with (the money I make from the car will pay a loan off first) at the end of it.

Whatever car it is, it'll be brand new for definite. I've been conned once - it'll never happen again!
