Yes, it`s been done before.
No, it won`t be as lond as the FOG version.

Why am I trying it out anyway?

The PS2 forum is a very interesting place to be, but it can also be a little quiet. I though perhaps if we had a topic with several hundred replies lurking at the top, things would look more popular.

Feel free to use the topic to talk about anything. Either the latest PS2 game, latest ideas for including some female star in a game etc... or even just the usual chat that happens all over.

As I expect this to fail, I`ve decided to spend a little while pushing up the replies. No spamming, just lots of nonsense :-)

Any help would be great, it`d be boring to have a whole topic with replies from only me.

Has anyone got Baldurs Gate Dark Alliance?

Doesn't seem that anyone is posting any topics about it.

I Got it for Christmas, and in my opinion it's certainly one of the best games for the PS2...

The PS2 didnt have a great line up of games. Tekken Tag was ok and so was Ridge Racer 5. Timesplitters was another good game that I bought. I had the PS2 at launch and found that it was good, but after I had played the 3 games I got then didnt really play on it till Z.O.E came out in March.

The PS2 has never disappointed me even when there was a lack of good games. I knew the reason I pre-ordered one and wanted one was the fact of all the good games that were going to come out. The PS2 has had a ton of great games released last year(2001). It still has 2 of the best games ever still to be released over here namely MGS2 and FFX.

The X-Box is another great console with games I want to play. Sega are also giving the X-Box strong support with rumors that Shenmue 3 will be on the X-Box. I own a DC and loved the Shenmue games. Also MSR was another good game for the DC and the sequel is on the X-Box. Dead Or Alive 3 is an exclusive to the X-Box.

PS2 is great and probably the console to own if you can afford one but if you can afford 2 or 3 then why not get the other consoles aswell. Each console has there own exclusive titles that are great that owners of the other consoles want to play, so by having all of the consoles you can play on all the good games.

Fair enough, I have not seen much info about either of the two consoles, becuase I have not looked. I am happy with my PS2 and I am not in the market at the monent for another. This might change in the future, but with a lot of great games coming out in the near future then I will be hard pressed to devote the time and money to support two consoles.

Yeh you are right, I decided to get a PS2 at launch because it was going to have games i wanted and at the time it was right for me to buy. I will watch the launch or the Gamecube and Xbox closely and if either has games I want then at Xmas next year I might buy one or other.

I would have thought he would have reconised me as I do spend most of the time here, and am a die hard PS2 fan, considering I pre-ordered before it was released anywhere in the world. I do pop into the Nintendo, Microsoft and Sega forums ever few days to see if theres anything interesting, but iam always in this forum.

I suppose if you only can afford one console then the PS2 is a perfect choice, but I can afford more than one and the X-Box appeals to me aswell. I want Halo, Dead Or Alive 3, Project Gothem, Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Jet Set Radio Future. I also will probably pick up a GC when Resident Evil is released for it.

Was this aimed at me. Well I am looking forward to the X-Box and I change it every day so its a count down. Iam here because I have a PS2. I pre-ordered one in Feb 2000 which was before they were even released in Japan. I have owned it since launch. I also have had a PS1 since 1996. But I like playing computer games so having all the consoles means I can play on all the good games available.
