Yes, it`s been done before.
No, it won`t be as lond as the FOG version.

Why am I trying it out anyway?

The PS2 forum is a very interesting place to be, but it can also be a little quiet. I though perhaps if we had a topic with several hundred replies lurking at the top, things would look more popular.

Feel free to use the topic to talk about anything. Either the latest PS2 game, latest ideas for including some female star in a game etc... or even just the usual chat that happens all over.

As I expect this to fail, I`ve decided to spend a little while pushing up the replies. No spamming, just lots of nonsense :-)

Any help would be great, it`d be boring to have a whole topic with replies from only me.

Morning you two,

Yeah it was a little quiet in here yesterday, even Bullett didn't pop in to say morning :(

Jive - figured you must have been busy. Spending sprees, sighs I remember when I could afford them.

Shadow - glad everything went reasonably well on the moving front. Just think though, when you leave work today and you say you're off home you'll mean it. That will be a nice feeling.

The problem is with SKY, they will not install the dish unless there is an active phone line, the fact that you can disconnect the phone line once the engineer has left is beside the point.

Morning All

House move went reasonable well, still have a few boxes to unpack. Only problem were BT, I thought it was too good to be true, the phone was not connected on Friday and they had to make the visit on Monday. This meant that SKY was not connected Sunday :(

Morning Sleepy

Take it it wasn't too busy in here yesterday? Very busy at work, also had to go and pickup a load of new gadgets for the house which I ordered on Sunday (major spending spree) - spent most of the afternoon on the phone to various people regarding work :(

Probably wont get on her very much today either .... hope Shadows house move went well, we should be exchanging on Thursday (fingers crossed) :)

Bo.

Bloody hell, aint been in ere for while. sod knows why i' meven awake. I've got a 2000 word essay to do which i cant blag as its needs actual good content and numourous references.

for anyone thats interested the titles to choose from are ...

1. Explain how producers adjust their capital stock to the optimal level. What are the determinants of investment?

2. What are the major determinants on consumption, according to the Permanent Income and Life Cycle theories? Can these speculations be combined with the modern approach? Explain your answer.

3. Examine the effects of an increase in government expenditure on an open economy’s flexible exchange rate and the balance of payments in the midst of perfect mobility of capital. Do fixed rates change the previous answer? Use the IS/LM/BP model of analysis to provide a detailed answer.

4. Explain in detail the short and long run implications of a monetary expansion when exchange rates and prices are flexible with the assumption of perfect mobility of capital. What happens during the period of adjustment from the short to the long-run? Do fixed rates change the previous answers?

5. Explain the Purchasing Power Parity (PPP) of the long-run behaviour of the exchange rate. Indicate whether there are circumstances where the PPP relationship might not hold in the short run.

6. Explain the meaning of deflation compared with the process of inflation. Is it possible to model this new phenomena within the IS/LM framework and trace out the potential dangers, if any?

I'm thinking about doing the last one as doing a large definition of inflation/definition is easy enough and will probably be enough for a pass. I aint too bothered about getting a good grade as in my course only the last years results count towards my degree.
