No, it won`t be as lond as the FOG version.
Why am I trying it out anyway?
The PS2 forum is a very interesting place to be, but it can also be a little quiet. I though perhaps if we had a topic with several hundred replies lurking at the top, things would look more popular.
Feel free to use the topic to talk about anything. Either the latest PS2 game, latest ideas for including some female star in a game etc... or even just the usual chat that happens all over.
As I expect this to fail, I`ve decided to spend a little while pushing up the replies. No spamming, just lots of nonsense :-)
Any help would be great, it`d be boring to have a whole topic with replies from only me.

I don't think you can fire at people when your swimming ... can you?
> Jive have you got any tips?
Yeah, best way I found was to swim as far as you can until you get spotted, as soon as you do, dive down and keep swimming towards the boat, if you can get under the boat in one dive you should be ok.
When you dive the guards on the boat lose track of where you are so you should be able to resurface and keep swimming again.
I managed that mission first time, once your on the boat it's a piece of cake, getting off just head towards the marker doing the same dive technique :)
Is it the mission where you have to swim over to the boat and there are guards near the entrance? I cant remember it very well, but I do remember it being quite a long mission, try diving under-water and until you get near the guards, then pop up and bust a cap in their asses.
It's very hard to play PSP games unless you sit up straight and lean on a table, otherwise your arms will start to ache or you just wont be very comfortable.
Thats how I felt anyway, maybe its just me.
Should get San Andreas tommorow or Thursday. :)

tsk .. what a slacker ;-)
I can see the handheld appeal but I think I'd also make time for my PS2 when at home, I find playing on a big screen and using the controller alot easier and comfortable but then the transition to wandering about as you want and play is also great :)
I now have, I think, enough money saved to contact phuzzy and get me one of those contraptions sent over from Tokyo :)
Finally decided not to go into work today, btw...
Glad to see a few more people are playing SA now, certainly makes for some additional chat in here :)
Sleepy, sounds like your getting the hang of the game now, you've even done something I haven't ... paid a stripper, don't think I've even seen where they are :(
Don't usually listen that much to the radio stations as I play mostly with the sound down and therefore can't hear the chat .. but my favourite station is Radio X.
I think my most enjoyable area of the three islands is Las Venturas for a couple of reasons, it's alot flatter than the other two main cities allowing for much quicker travel and like Hamish said, the bright lights in the night are fantastic and bring back a few memories of my visit a few years ago :)
Only not today as the auditor is in again.
Know the feeling I have 2 in for all week doing the interim :(
I'm still not too far into it although I did manage to do the drive thru eventually and even managed to do the drive by first time AND get the car to the garage for the respray. Then I had trouble reversing it out and nearly wrecked it! I was using the wrong controls :(
I realised I wasn't getting into the spirit of the game when Jive mentioned I should have plenty of ammo for my Uzi. Uzi!?? All I had was a baseball bat and some spray paint :)
It's all okay now - I've been on a murder spree, been shopping and to the gym and even paid a stripper. Now I have the hang of the game I'm off to nick a car so that I can rescue Sweet and his girlfriend. Only not today as the auditor is in again.
