Why am I trying it out anyway?
The PS2 forum is a very interesting place to be, but it can also be a little quiet. I though perhaps if we had a topic with several hundred replies lurking at the top, things would look more popular.
Feel free to use the topic to talk about anything. Either the latest PS2 game, latest ideas for including some female star in a game etc... or even just the usual chat that happens all over.
As I expect this to fail, I`ve decided to spend a little while pushing up the replies. No spamming, just lots of nonsense :-)

Well she was having second thoughts when she saw the size of the 51" RPTV, especially when the box turned up, now she's pretty impressed although we've not watched any films yet, that ... I can't wait for :)

You have some more time off this morning? 'Sideboard' made me chuckle for some reason, I didn't realise people under 65 still owned these. It reminded me of my parents :)
Personally my life is nice and quiet at the moment, just the way I like it. The most excitable thing that happened to me this week was getting the letter from WYP asking for £60.00 and my licence so they could put 3 lovely points on it. That is the kind of excitment I can easily do without :(

Teehee annoys our lass as well, but hey home cinema is just sorted - just wish ps 2 had full in game surround ah la xbox, cause halo and splinter cell in surround is great, no one can sneak up on yer without you hearing them first!

Hi frag, haven't got 6.1 setup although I have got the facility on my amp for that, don't think the other half would be too impressed with another speaker - she lost her rag last night when I was pulling the carpets up :)
I'll bear that in mind though for Phantom Menace, should have that back soon as I told my mate to drop it round after he's borrowed it for about a year!

Newbie, but just to barge in, the best test of yer system would be SW -phantom menace pod race scene in 6.1, may not be the best ever film but that scene is fantastic in surround, especially if you hav a sub!! mmmm 6.1 x 120W of pure neighbour annoying!!
Whoo, just spent the morning wiring up my surround sound speakers to my amp, spent all evening putting the cables under the carpet and building the two coffee tables and sideboard, front room now looks the dogs :)
Bedroom furniture arrived this morning ontime, which is amazing :)
Decoratition of our bedroom and ensuite starts tonight and continues through the weekend, hopefully it wont be nice and sunny otherwise I'm gonna be annoyed :|
Have to test the amp setup tonight or maybe this afternoon if I can get away early.
