The "Sony Games" forum, which includes Retro Game Reviews, has been archived and is now read-only. You cannot post here or create a new thread or review on this forum.
No, it won`t be as lond as the FOG version.
Why am I trying it out anyway?
The PS2 forum is a very interesting place to be, but it can also be a little quiet. I though perhaps if we had a topic with several hundred replies lurking at the top, things would look more popular.
Feel free to use the topic to talk about anything. Either the latest PS2 game, latest ideas for including some female star in a game etc... or even just the usual chat that happens all over.
As I expect this to fail, I`ve decided to spend a little while pushing up the replies. No spamming, just lots of nonsense :-)
Any help would be great, it`d be boring to have a whole topic with replies from only me.
> No more exams this semester
Are you American? :P
> You don't go round B&Q yourself do you?
Yes and no, depends on whether I'm getting stuff for myself or being dragged round....
> Not seen Charlies Angels Full Throttle yet, any good?
Hmm ... not bad if you like looking at scantily clad females, action / fights / stunts WAY OVER THE TOP - and for those who are going to say it's total trash, shut up and just watch it for the eye candy, that's all it is and ever will be.
> I thought you were getting a permanent one or was that Shadow?
Probably both, just haven't got round to building it properly yet. No flies round this one, way to much smoke :P
> Oops - home time. Have fun, I'll catch you later :D
Bah ... SLACKER :D
Went to meet some of the lads to revise on Saturday but made it home with 10 minutes to spare before kick off which was just enough time to race round to the pub.
You don't go round B&Q yourself do you? You need to do what I just did. Decided to tear all the carpets out of the house (absolutely hate them) and put laminate flooring in. A friend is going to do the work so he went to B&Q and priced everything up for me on Saturday :)
Not seen Charlies Angels Full Throttle yet, any good?
Yuck. BBQ's. Too much sun and too many flies, not for me. Much prefer to be indoors. I thought you were getting a permanent one or was that Shadow?
Oops - home time. Have fun, I'll catch you later :D
Weekend, hmmm, spent a shed load of money on Saturday on boring stuff like pots and plants for the garden, watch the FA Cup final, although I missed the first 20 mins due to being dragged round B&Q :(
Sunday spent more money on my gfs 2 girls, clothes for their holiday and watched Charlies Angels Full Throttle in the evening on DVD.
Oh and we had our first BBQ yesterday evening, only on one of those instant BBQ sets but twas very nice indeed :)
I had an exam at 9.00 am this morning :(
But on the upside it went okay.
Anything interesting happen over the weekend?
> Naff all at the moment, weathers playing up badly
Should have stayed here, not a cloud in the sky :P
> Massive stars in our galaxy at tring
Hmm, wanna put that in English?
:)
> Heh .. cool, so 24 hours watching a screen eh ... doesn't it get a bit
> boring?
Yup! but the views are nice, and so is the holiday at the end of it!
>What have you found so far?
Naff all (dam the swear filters!)at the moment, weathers playing up badly, but supposed to be looking for Massive stars in our galaxy at tring to figure out how far away they are. Tis a laugh when it all works out!
*apart from roo roadkill*
:D
Found this link about MOPRA http://www.narrabri.atnf.csiro.au/mopra/visit/ looks pretty big, but can't see you in that pic at the top :)
Be careful of those roos, my mate told me they are dumb as .... just stand in the road looking at headlights and then BAM!
Cuddly Koala with razor claws!
Not a sunny day down under today people, at the other scope now (MOPRA if ya wanna hunt on t'internet for it).
Just got up from a 24 hr observing day yesterday, so rather knackered! But only a week to go! Woohoo!
Saw mi first koala in the wild other and nearly got mi first kangaroo road-kill to, but was a side impact so it survived. (Twas a big 'un)
