The "Sony Games" forum, which includes Retro Game Reviews, has been archived and is now read-only. You cannot post here or create a new thread or review on this forum.
No, it won`t be as lond as the FOG version.
Why am I trying it out anyway?
The PS2 forum is a very interesting place to be, but it can also be a little quiet. I though perhaps if we had a topic with several hundred replies lurking at the top, things would look more popular.
Feel free to use the topic to talk about anything. Either the latest PS2 game, latest ideas for including some female star in a game etc... or even just the usual chat that happens all over.
As I expect this to fail, I`ve decided to spend a little while pushing up the replies. No spamming, just lots of nonsense :-)
Any help would be great, it`d be boring to have a whole topic with replies from only me.

Methinks it's those pesky SR staff playing around again :)

Really, that's very surprising! I thought people had been looking at the stars for years ....

God knows why my names blue?? Was definately brown earlier!
Yes the transit of venus will happen in about 8 years time, then will be another 100 yrs afore we see it again.
It happens in pairs, couple of short spaced ones then big gap due to the alinement of the orbits, twas important today as no-one alive has ever seen it before!
Got a couple of snaps n might even get a mention in the old yorkshire post!

You'll be collecting lots of dust with that there laminate flooring, might be a good idea to keep the vac just in case :)

That's strange, my mate told me it only happens every 100 years .... hopefully frag can clarify :)
> Fragout - hey up!! How comes you got a lovely blue name?
Lots of strange things going on today, when I posted earlier, frags name was deffo in brown and not blue .... weird!
Jive - the laminates costs about the same as a good quality carpet and I got the stuff that is guaranteed for 12 - 15 yrs (Floormaster from B&Q) and am delighted with it. Could have gone cheaper but you do get what you pay for. Out goes the vac this weekend.
The transit of Venus started about 5.30 this morning and goes on until about 11.30. You're supposed to be able to view it on the internet but I'm struggling to find something that will load at work. Don't worry - if you miss it, it happens again in 8 yrs time. I was watching a programme called Stardate at the weekend about it :D
Fragout - hey up!! How comes you got a lovely blue name?
Neo - Glasgow? 9 crazy mates? Have fun :D
Didn't Martin Clunes star in a programme where he had a stag night in Scotland?
Shadow and Clazon (for later) - Evening.
Neo, good luck with the stag do matey, Glasgow wouldn't have been my first choice, hope you survive the trip :D
Clazon, yeah it will be worth it in the end, as I said, now got two months break before the next room starts, plenty of footy and relaxation first :)
Frag, hey good to see you made it back from Oz, heard about the once in a lifetime pass of venus past the sun from my mate at work today before reading your post, any idea on what time it's supposed to happen?
Fun day today, in charge of trying to see Venus through a shed load of clouds with the telescopes at uni, whilst trying to explain what's going on to non-physics minded people!
And just to say i love e-bay! Just found my AWOL tv remote! Great stuff :D

> now finished for a couple of months until we start on the main bathroom and then the kitchen .... oh joy :|
:D
all work and no play makes jive a dull boy.
it'll all be worth it when it's done, jivey. nice to see you again.
> So how's everyone doing, what's been going on?
i had a nice time in essex, near to the beach. had a spin in my sis' porsche carrera. lovely really. bucket loads of work this week though.
> Where are you having it?

> you are losing your slacker 1st class rank.
