Yes, it`s been done before.
No, it won`t be as lond as the FOG version.

Why am I trying it out anyway?

The PS2 forum is a very interesting place to be, but it can also be a little quiet. I though perhaps if we had a topic with several hundred replies lurking at the top, things would look more popular.

Feel free to use the topic to talk about anything. Either the latest PS2 game, latest ideas for including some female star in a game etc... or even just the usual chat that happens all over.

As I expect this to fail, I`ve decided to spend a little while pushing up the replies. No spamming, just lots of nonsense :-)

Any help would be great, it`d be boring to have a whole topic with replies from only me.

Morning,

Yeah it's very nice and sunny here for a change as well.

You've had that warning for a while, any idea when it will be leaving?

Morning,

A membrane is a protective sheeting that you put down before putting pebbles in the garden. Just makes it easier to keep the weeds out and it's a lot easier to remove the pebbles if you wish to take them back up again at any time.

It is a beautiful, beautiful day today. Payday. I can almost hear my bank account sigh with relief :)

What's a membrane in gardening terms?

I hate biology...

Luckily only have neighbours on one side. Could of course have lights on the front garden as we are a corner plot and have no one overlooking us at the front.

Heheh, maybe not such a great idea, especially if you like your neighbours.

I suppose you could put a plant or a small bush or something just to cover one side of the light - the side that's facing your neighbour obviously. :-)

Unless you have neighbours on both sides.. then you may as well forget about it. :D

Morning all,

Stick some small solar powered lights along the edges or borders of your garden, always a nice touch and you do your bit for the environment at the same time. ;-)

Thats our plan, just need to nip to B&Q to get the membrane. Getting some stones deleivered in the next week or two as I need to fill up a few areas around the patio.

Afternoon,

It's dead easy to pull weeds up in my garden. Once I took ownership of the house, prior to actually moving in, I had the lawn torn up and a membrane and pebbles put down. Makes it much easier to clean up after the dog and the weeds cannot get their roots into the earth.

It's not raining here at the moment but I bet it's waiting until I walk the dog and reach the furthest point away from the house :)
