Why am I trying it out anyway?
The PS2 forum is a very interesting place to be, but it can also be a little quiet. I though perhaps if we had a topic with several hundred replies lurking at the top, things would look more popular.
Feel free to use the topic to talk about anything. Either the latest PS2 game, latest ideas for including some female star in a game etc... or even just the usual chat that happens all over.
As I expect this to fail, I`ve decided to spend a little while pushing up the replies. No spamming, just lots of nonsense :-)
Any help would be great, it`d be boring to have a whole topic with replies from only me.

Sorted the computer in the end, although I've got another one to look at on Monday and try and sort one out over the weekend before the user gets back .... not impressed!

We're gonna ban them from using the net .. actually we're just gonna allow them access to certain websites in future, ones that are deemed work related so no more friendsreunited or porn in future :)

Re-install windows, or go onto linux like us, much less hassle! Go on, you know it makes sense!
Jesus H Christ, I've now run adaware, spybot, cwshredder & antivirus, changed the homepage, edited the registry and locked down the IE settings using spybot and then rebooted and it's still coming back with the dodgy URL!

My housemate had a problem with spyware doing a similar thing to his browser for viagra, the only way he stopped it was to wipe the hard disk n start from scratch.

Yeah I think your right frag, working on this computer trying to get it back to some kind of normality after it's major infection via the porn site.
So far I've installed Adaware, SpyBot S&D, CWShredder and it still keeps finding problems, also the IE home page keeps reverting back to the porn site .... grrr I'm so gonna slap the users of this machine.
Hehe .. I've changed their screensaver to the scrolling marquee and put "I MUST NOT SURF PORN AT WORK!!!" coming on every 5 mins :)
