Yes, it`s been done before.
No, it won`t be as lond as the FOG version.

Why am I trying it out anyway?

The PS2 forum is a very interesting place to be, but it can also be a little quiet. I though perhaps if we had a topic with several hundred replies lurking at the top, things would look more popular.

Feel free to use the topic to talk about anything. Either the latest PS2 game, latest ideas for including some female star in a game etc... or even just the usual chat that happens all over.

As I expect this to fail, I`ve decided to spend a little while pushing up the replies. No spamming, just lots of nonsense :-)

Any help would be great, it`d be boring to have a whole topic with replies from only me.

Really? That's so bad, for you *yawns and goes back to bed where he's spent most of the day watching TV and sleeping*

Not yet. I'm at work. Going to uni tonight as we have a lecture / tutorial 7 - 9 pm. I don't get home until nearly 10.00. Wednesday is a long, long day for me.

Yeah, sorry, but knew that already.

The cloak wasn't really to stop him getting a cold but to stop him getting wet - it's something we mentioned previously. Him having a cold just gave me the opportunity to get a little dig in :)

Maybe this will help, you get cold and flu from being inside all the time (because it's too cold outside in winter) so you transfer lots more germs with each other. Wearing a big cloak will make you look like a granny rather than protect you from getting a cold or flu :)

You Can't Catch a Cold out in the Cold
Infections aren't really spread that way, experts say

Who hasn't warned their children to bundle up in winter so they won't catch a cold?

The truth is that, despite the common belief, colds, flu and other infections are typically not spread as a result of weather or being out in the cold.

The myth probably persists because colds and the flu are indeed more common during winter months. But the American Lung Association says such infections, in fact, have little to do with weather and are simply more prevalent in winter months because that's when viruses commonly spread across the country.

The most common ways that infections are spread are through touching respiratory secretions from one's skin, either directly -- for instance, shaking someone's hand -- or indirectly on environmental surfaces, such as touching a doorknob and then rubbing your eyes or touching your mouth with that same hand, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

That's why experts strongly encourage frequent hand-washing -- whether you have a cold or not -- as the best means for preventing the spread of germs. Even if you've got well-scrubbed hands, however, colds and flu can also commonly be spread by inhaling infectious particles in the air, for instance, if you are near someone who sneezed.

Colds, flu and other infections are believed to be especially high among children, not only because of their closer body contact in play, but because of their constant exposure to groups of others in schools.

That is the third post on the trot that I have read where the postee has a bad cold / flu and you are all blokes.

So I extend my sympathy to you as well :)

It's vainity which has caused yours. I know this because you will not buy a big cloak to wear on your bike as you'd look like a granny.
