No, it won`t be as lond as the FOG version.
Why am I trying it out anyway?
The PS2 forum is a very interesting place to be, but it can also be a little quiet. I though perhaps if we had a topic with several hundred replies lurking at the top, things would look more popular.
Feel free to use the topic to talk about anything. Either the latest PS2 game, latest ideas for including some female star in a game etc... or even just the usual chat that happens all over.
As I expect this to fail, I`ve decided to spend a little while pushing up the replies. No spamming, just lots of nonsense :-)
Any help would be great, it`d be boring to have a whole topic with replies from only me.
Actually I've only ever had one cute lecturer and I got mark in the high 60's for his module. Don't know how I managed that 'cos every time he walked around I'd have sworn that I never heard a word he said :D
EDIT - it's pretty informal in lecturers but when they look at their register and see 1 female name on it, look up and see me, they get very clever at putting two and two together :)
Arg stuck in lab today! Ah well least i get paid for it :)
First name basis with the lecturers eh? What favours you been giving them? ;)
I think I'm going to like my new module - Advanced Computer Architecture. His opening statement to the class was 'It's not very advanced'. About 20 mins into the lecture he asked a question, looked straight at me, and said "Helen?". To which I replied "Oh Hell, don't start that again. I don't know". He said he'll do it every week but as it doesn't embarass me when he asks then I don't really mind :)
He did drop hints that about 1/4 of the folks on the old module will have to resit the exam. This confuses me slightly. I know I passed the exam (it was a doddle) but have grave doubts on passing the assignment. Surely I will have to take the whole module again if I fail the assignment?
> Not a word Neo, NOT ONE FLIPPING WORD!!
*whistles*
:D
Sounds like too much hard work your course, but hey if everyone does a bit pants then they usually shift the infamous "Bell curve" arround to get slightly better marks for the kiddies. Well that's what seems to happen for physics anyhew. - I managed once to only get just over half of an exam done, as did most of the others, yet we all came out with firsts??? Although we did go out drinking with our lecturers :)
Aye but the key word there is 'last' not 'always' :)
Mindst I suppose it depends on how long you've been together so I'll not pry.
Anyway - I went to uni last night and got another assignment handed out to me. Oh Joy! I'm hoping this means that I've passed the first (even if I just scrap it) but the lecturer wouldn't be drawn into any details although I know they've been marked. We get that pleasure next monday evening :(
Worst thing is I've just realised that tomorrow I start a new module and it is with the same lecturer as the module I just really struggled on :(
Not got my marks yet but the full timers told us yesterday he is reported to have said that the assignments were very poor this year. However a couple of the lads were groaning to me about the lack of 'hands on' teaching we received. They had struggled with the whole putting a network together as well. It's all well and good the books telling us what level and protocols the hubs and switches run on but that's means buggeration when it comes to putting it all together.
Sorry, rambling, did you have a nice evening?
