Yes, it`s been done before.
No, it won`t be as lond as the FOG version.

Why am I trying it out anyway?

The PS2 forum is a very interesting place to be, but it can also be a little quiet. I though perhaps if we had a topic with several hundred replies lurking at the top, things would look more popular.

Feel free to use the topic to talk about anything. Either the latest PS2 game, latest ideas for including some female star in a game etc... or even just the usual chat that happens all over.

As I expect this to fail, I`ve decided to spend a little while pushing up the replies. No spamming, just lots of nonsense :-)

Any help would be great, it`d be boring to have a whole topic with replies from only me.

I guess that is the biggest difference between the 2 teams Mourinho knows who his best 11 are and is not afraid to leave players on the bench. With the possible exception of Gary Neville, last night we played our best 11. I was surprised when the TV man pointed out it was the first time this season that we had played Scholes, Keane, Giggs, Ronaldo, Rooney and Ruud in the same team !!!

Sir Alex's plan of makes changes to the Saturday team before a mid week Euro tie does make a difference to the confidence and cohesion of the team.

Yeh, they seem to have have set a new example which means we have to become a lot better, the difference between them and us is that they have the will to beat the lower teams yet we seem to slack off. Our manager doesnt help either by gluing an unbalanced team together randomly and asking for them to go out to click instantly.

NB: Good to get all this off my chest :D

No I think we will be lucky to get even half of that sum for Saha.

If we beat the Saints on Saturday then we have a very good chance in the cup, only see Arsenal as competition and they have a tough match against Bolton to look forward to.

I agree winning the FA Cup was not what I was hopeing for at the start of the season but this and second in the League is not a complete disaster. Our performance in the league considering the start has been fantastic and in another season we wouldbe well clear, however Chelsea have done great and if they continue in this form they deserve to be Champions.

Yeh I would accept the FA Cup but then that isnt guranteed either, but it will feels like another failed season. I expect Saha to move on in the summer, but will we get back the £12+ mill we paid for him? I certainly doubt anyone will pay anything close to that figure.

I thought Stam had a great game, but I think we are not too bad in defense, with Rio and Heinze. We need a new keeper (and the manager has to show some confidence in him even when he makes the odd mistake, which they all do), someone to replace Giggs who is knocking on a bit (and his performances are hit and miss) and of course a replacement for Keane, it showed last night that the heart is willing but the legs are not up to it.

Like you say going to cost a pretty penny with perhaps Saha leaving and an FA Cup win maybe we can afford it ?

We need a few signings in the summer, but I dont think it's going to happen since we spent everything penny on Rooney and the only way to gain revenue is to either sell someone or win something...FA Cup seems the only possibility.

I think we lack that cutting edge, someone to create some magic. Ronaldo and Rooney and a fully fit Ruud will bring that for us, but it will take time since the first 2 are still young and inexperianced so it maybe take a few years for us to get past that next stage in the CL.

Note: How good was Stam last night? I hope Fergie was watching.

I have been talking with a few people in work and it just seems once we reach the Knockout stage of the CL we just do not seem to be able to put the performances together needed, albeit we have have a few tough draws and ended up losing to the eventual winners, but we do not seem to be able to go that extra mile needed at this level. Good luck to Chelsea and Liverpool hope that one of them can get at leats to the final. Of course I hope the @rse get knocked out tonight.

Yeh, that worried me but luckily though, it's an away game - they should be made to work hard. If it was at home I can see us slacking off as usual, but hey that doesnt mean it will be easy, the hangover could still kick in. Fergie will probabaly overhaul the team again.

I congratulate Milan, however - the United of old would have at least scored 1 goal yesterday and made a go for it, it just seems like they cant go that extra step like they used to.

Hopefully we will not have a hangover on Saturday against the Saints
