Yes, it`s been done before.
No, it won`t be as lond as the FOG version.

Why am I trying it out anyway?

The PS2 forum is a very interesting place to be, but it can also be a little quiet. I though perhaps if we had a topic with several hundred replies lurking at the top, things would look more popular.

Feel free to use the topic to talk about anything. Either the latest PS2 game, latest ideas for including some female star in a game etc... or even just the usual chat that happens all over.

As I expect this to fail, I`ve decided to spend a little while pushing up the replies. No spamming, just lots of nonsense :-)

Any help would be great, it`d be boring to have a whole topic with replies from only me.

I hate it when that happens, it all ends up with someone bitching about someone else.

Yes, I bought him :D

But yeh we signed him for approx £2 million subject to medical

Who cares? :D

I think they will sign Robert Green as replacement.

Nope and the girly night out of Friday wasn't brilliant. There were a two with us more with us, one a complete stranger to all but the girl who brought her. It proved difficult deciding which pubs to go in as they didn't like the ones we liked :(

On saying that we did have plenty to drink and our kebab as usual and didn't get in until 1.30 am.

You bought Van Der Sar? (well obviously not you personally :)) As in the Fulham goalie? As in I like him but if he's moved what will happen to poor Fulham?

Yeh I saw that report but another Striker would be a total waste of money, especially since we have the likes of Smith rarely getting a start, Saha barely playing a game and Rossi coming through the ranks. Like you said, we need to concentrate on the midfield and the possibility of a few departures.

There is a report on Sky that we are after David Villa, cannot see the point in buying another striker. For me our number one need is a replacement for Roy Keane, another winger would be good to allow Ronaldo to take over from Giggs on the left.

Yeh I agree, would have loved him to sign with us 5 years ago, it would have saved us a lot of money that has been wasted on mediocre replacements for Schmikes but he is still an excellent keeper and a safe pair of hands who is in great shape so should be around for a few years.

Im not sure that they will sign another keeper this summer, Howard can learn a lot off Van der Sar and I think they will promote a young keeper like Luke Steele as 3rd choice.

Hopefully this means that they can plunge any money that they may have left into purchasing 1 or 2 midfielders. Park Ji Sung is being touted to move to United from PSV for about £3.5 mill. Watched him against AC Milan and he was excellent on the right side of midfield. Maybe Guus Hiddink will follow him as our new manager :D

Very good but just disappeared, seemed to go faster than when I have a busy one :)

Good keeper, but I guess only a stop gap, would have prefered him 5 years ago. Think they may sign a young keeper to go with him.

Morning,

Lovely weekend thanks. Only fly in the ointment was my friends boyfriend decided to come to the coast with us. Lord only knows why! He knows we spend ages in the arcades and it bores him to death.

Shadow - how was yours?

Frag - sounds like you had a good 'un as well.
