No, it won`t be as lond as the FOG version.
Why am I trying it out anyway?
The PS2 forum is a very interesting place to be, but it can also be a little quiet. I though perhaps if we had a topic with several hundred replies lurking at the top, things would look more popular.
Feel free to use the topic to talk about anything. Either the latest PS2 game, latest ideas for including some female star in a game etc... or even just the usual chat that happens all over.
As I expect this to fail, I`ve decided to spend a little while pushing up the replies. No spamming, just lots of nonsense :-)
Any help would be great, it`d be boring to have a whole topic with replies from only me.

Cheers.
For now I'll have to go, but if I don't see you later, I'll assume Chet "had words".

Piece of cake really, everything is either colour coded or only slots in one way so you have little chance of screwing up :)

Damn right, that should be pretty loud enough :)

Oh do tell me about these magazines ... what are they about?
:D

Yeah but when I worked it out price-wise, it hardly saved me anything. Plus I'm not that confident about what happens if one of the pieces doesn't work or whatever. Generally I don't think I know enough about computers to do that.

Yup.

Heh, the one for my guitar.

Heard of them, but haven't seen them about. I think I've seen one Putney way.

I'm sure he'll be having words with you later, but for now, he did take the pisss over the magazines.
:D

Have you thought about buying and building your own? You could put together a very good computer if you built it yourself and also probably save yourself quite a bit of money.
> And I'd like to get a wireless router system
Good idea although try and get a wired and wireless together if you can, I'm sure if you ask here or in the PC part on here people will help you :)
> Plus CD/games money...
Ah of course .. you could just spend all your money on those two areas alone :)
> A new Hi-Fi system £100+
Have you thought about just getting a decent amp and running computer through that?
> Some new speakers £60+
Can't do without good speakers, have you got a Richer Sounds near you? They're always good for deals.
> New headphones £30+
Haven't got any but I know the Sennheisers are a good brand.

Ah well, these things happen, like you said, lots of selling ... either that or just rob the local MaccyDs that Neo works at, he's bound to let you in the back door for a percentage cut ;-)

Well, the range is so great because one item is a new computer. I'm getting broadband (yesyesyes) and this computer isn't the most rapid (1400 Thunderbird + ME) and my gaming computer is ancient (P2 450MHZ). So I totalled up:
New athlon comp £600-700
-brings increased processor speed
-new graphics card
-bigger hard drive
-R/RW drive (the one on here's broken)
-firewire/USB 2
-etc.
And I'd like to get a wireless router system, but I'm not sure how much they cost/work, etc.
Plus CD/games money...
But then there are other things which I'm considering instead which I need/want:
A new Hi-Fi system £100+
-my one's broken, old and crap so I'm flogging it.
Some new speakers £60+
-I've never had a pair of decent speakers and my many PC speakers are poor.
New headphones £30+
-Been looking at the Sennheiser PX-100's, I love them.
So that means there's got to be quite a bit of flogging to do. As well as equating in holiday spending money for the aforementioned and concert/free time money for the summer.
:(
Doesn't look good.
> Morning.
Morning Clazon, thanks for the info in the audioscrobbler thread :)
£100 - £900 hmm that's quite a range to spend .. so what have you been thinking about buying?
> But gadgets ... think of the gadgets you can get :D
Heh. I haven't started hoarding gadgets just yet, but I've worked out I would like to get about £100-900 over the next 3 months.
:(
Oh well, I'll live.
Morning.
Now the misses is going for a job interview this afternoon and should get the job which means she'll be working evenings 2 nights a week ... whooohooo ... that means PS2 and XBox on the big 52" TV :D
*rubs hands together with glee*
If the lady wants stuff for the house, she can buy it! I'm currently the kept man till i get the phd and hit the real world with about as much propects as a clever goldfish! :)
But gadgets ... think of the gadgets you can get :D
