Yes, it`s been done before.
No, it won`t be as lond as the FOG version.

Why am I trying it out anyway?

The PS2 forum is a very interesting place to be, but it can also be a little quiet. I though perhaps if we had a topic with several hundred replies lurking at the top, things would look more popular.

Feel free to use the topic to talk about anything. Either the latest PS2 game, latest ideas for including some female star in a game etc... or even just the usual chat that happens all over.

As I expect this to fail, I`ve decided to spend a little while pushing up the replies. No spamming, just lots of nonsense :-)

Any help would be great, it`d be boring to have a whole topic with replies from only me.

Oh, I am such a moron.

The telly I use my PS2 one is our old one I put upstairs for that sole purpose. It's really old, so doen't have a Scart socket, I tried but no success. This was about a year and a half ago, so I had to go and buy an RF adapter to play through the aeriel.
And today, through a series of events which I won't descibe (because they're boring) I found out you can play the PS2 through the AV port - I'd plugged it in there to check before, but never though to actually change to the AV channel.

Now my games actually look nice - I'm not sure how much better a Scart link would be, but the AV plug makes everything 100% better than the RF lead. Although the telly doesn't have a 60Mhz option.

On a sort-of other note:

I'm left with a decision regarding getting a flip-top case and boot disc. To get it I'll need a 60Mhz telly, which our new one in the living room is, so I'll need to move my PS2 down there.

The problem there is that, where it is now, I can play my PS2 whenever I like - if it's downstairs I can play it a lot less. A very lot less.
So, do I buy the flip-top and sacrifice a lot of my gaming hours, or do I not bother and carry on playing as much as I like?

*Brain fails*
