Yes, it`s been done before.
No, it won`t be as lond as the FOG version.

Why am I trying it out anyway?

The PS2 forum is a very interesting place to be, but it can also be a little quiet. I though perhaps if we had a topic with several hundred replies lurking at the top, things would look more popular.

Feel free to use the topic to talk about anything. Either the latest PS2 game, latest ideas for including some female star in a game etc... or even just the usual chat that happens all over.

As I expect this to fail, I`ve decided to spend a little while pushing up the replies. No spamming, just lots of nonsense :-)

Any help would be great, it`d be boring to have a whole topic with replies from only me.

Yep they can corrupt but I've not noticed any, just don't understand why.

Now having to download everything from work at an extremely slow rate via vpn connection.

Harsh, is there anyway these partitions can corrupt therefore making you lose a whole chunk of your hard drive?

Yep that's completely correct. I've got a 40gb hard drive which is partitoned as follows

C = 5gb
D = 10gb
E = 20gb
F = 5gb

Add that lot up and it comes to 40gb, but I now only have 35gb with 5 floating around somewhere in my cables, probably laughing at me :(

Not at all mate sorry. I'm not sure what a partition is anyhow! I'm guessing its when you split the hard drive up into diff bits? Got no suggestions, i'm an amateur

Just disappeared, I did have 4 partitions C through to F with F being 5gb and full of various installs and setups, plus loads of game information.

It's now my CD Writer but even unplugging both DVD and writer my partitions stop at E :(

Any ideas?

Hey Jive,

Bummer about your computers. Has it somehow been wiped or has it just "dissapeared" randomly?

Evening peeps

I'm fed up, just found out that my computer has managed to lose 5gb of applications that I had on a partition....it's just disappeared, loads of installs needed for setup of computers all gone!

How's everyone else?
