The "Sony Games" forum, which includes Retro Game Reviews, has been archived and is now read-only. You cannot post here or create a new thread or review on this forum.
No, it won`t be as lond as the FOG version.
Why am I trying it out anyway?
The PS2 forum is a very interesting place to be, but it can also be a little quiet. I though perhaps if we had a topic with several hundred replies lurking at the top, things would look more popular.
Feel free to use the topic to talk about anything. Either the latest PS2 game, latest ideas for including some female star in a game etc... or even just the usual chat that happens all over.
As I expect this to fail, I`ve decided to spend a little while pushing up the replies. No spamming, just lots of nonsense :-)
Any help would be great, it`d be boring to have a whole topic with replies from only me.
Always play each company off against each other, if they ask what the lowest quote you've had, always refuse and ask for their amount first, then start haggling :)
If your insurance company are desperate for your business, wait till you've got the lowest quote, go back to them and ask them to match it, that way you don't have to worry about changing over all the details etc, you just save the money instead.
If they wont match then have no hesitation to cancel the policy!

Tsk, Sleepy...always shop around for your insurance! There are big mean insurance companies out there all trying to swindle you for their own big fat wallets. I manage to to get my renewal quote down £100 after threatening to go elsewhere for my car insurance.
Before you get married, make sure you've saved at least £10k or marry into lots of money :)

So far so good on that front, managed up to now through uni with no debt by working my ass off, so until the house hunting begins and the mortgage kicks in i owe nowt :) (6 months of freedom!)

Actually thinking about it I did it in this order.
Toys, (Debt), Job, Toys, (Bigger Debt), Car, (Even Bigger Debt), House, (Whoooa Huge Debt), Proposal, (See Whoooa), Marriage --> Massive Financial Debt!
:D
I like the sound of your plan by the way, I wish I'd done it in that order .. oo hang on a sec I seem to be there already, only trouble is, you need to tack one bit on the end.
Massive financial debt :D
Job, House, proposal, car (with a few boys toys in-between) that's the game plan!

Wow .. but what would you do if you found out that your paying a couple of hundred quid over the top? Time, call a couple of companies when you get home from work every night, starting a week before your insurance is due for renewal.
Money .. most of the companies have free phone numbers so it wont cost you anything, either that or a local number.
Go through Yellow pages and pick out 10 and compare to yours, if you save money then you've done well for what, 20 mins a night, not exactly alot of time wasted.
Oh and don't worry about being loyal because you've been with the same company 5 years in a row, they'll stitch you up in seconds if it's the difference between paying out £xxxx or nothing :-(
> Ahh! Begger, and there's me wanting a suburu..
Worth checking out and doing an online quote just to see what kinda amount they are wanting in comparison to your Focus. Either that or have a look at some of the online forums and do a search through there, you'll probably find loads of threads with people saying how old and how much they pay etc :)
I can dig out the subaru forum in the UK if you want?
I've been to a meeting at the uni today to decide on my final project but while I was there the guy that oversee all the part timers worked out my level so far. I screwed up 2 modules last year and they dragged my overall score down but I now know what I have to achieve next year. It was relatively good news.
Needless to say I am very, very happy this morning :)
Insurance renewal? I have never shopped around for mine. I figure that the cost to me in time and money negates any savings so as long as the renewal amount I'm offered is acceptable I tend to go with them.
