Why am I trying it out anyway?
The PS2 forum is a very interesting place to be, but it can also be a little quiet. I though perhaps if we had a topic with several hundred replies lurking at the top, things would look more popular.
Feel free to use the topic to talk about anything. Either the latest PS2 game, latest ideas for including some female star in a game etc... or even just the usual chat that happens all over.
As I expect this to fail, I`ve decided to spend a little while pushing up the replies. No spamming, just lots of nonsense :-)
Any help would be great, it`d be boring to have a whole topic with replies from only me.

it would seem that all is not well in SR forums. its all doom and gloom and the moment. maybe a zainy change will help. GADs are going which isn't great but it might help divert losers. hopefully there are better times ahead... or... we could *cringes* find a new haunt?

Damn shame that people have to leave under these circumstances although I can understand how they feel.
I'm not certain how the forums will look in 3 months time, if you pop back I've a feeling your going to be very disappointed with the resulting fiasco. :(

The top poster then was some weird geezer called Rastabillyskank ! I thought " what the heck is that all about ? " eventually I looked.
I had so much imagination when I first registered - using the wonderfully thought out moniker of nh. Hmmmm - I even remeber my first post - Noisy Fan ! and the first replies where from Pro and Wookie.

I'd been a member with SR for about a year or so before I spotted their chat section in the mag....gave it a go one day and the rest is history so same boat.

I did say it was measly and your totally on the ball there - when you consider how much people pay for their games - and everyone who comes here does so because they play games... then if they really would begrudge paying that small amount to become members then SR don't need them anyway.
I think alot of the peons who do post here forget that this is actually a Games selling companies chat area, they are principally here to sell games and other services to us. They provide this site at a cost to them as an add on service with the hope that it will generate some kind of customer loyalty to them.

Well on a renewal basis of say 2 years for SR membership, that works out at 0.016p per day.....erm excuse me but if anyone can't afford that - regardless of age - then perhaps they shouldn't be here in the first place.
If you can afford to fork out £30 - £35 for a game or more then you can afford another £12 or £13 for 2 year membership. £7 for a year works out at 0.019p per day.....hardly breaking the bank eh?

That's sort of what Snuggly suggested a while ago - but just limiting people who had paid to Life is what he was talking about.
With the changes to GAD it may make some of the retards dissapear anyway - only time will tell on that one.
It's not a bad idea allowing only SR members to post - though I'm sure there are some of the younger one's here who are actually sensible and good posters who maybe could not afford even the measly membership fee ( though when you consider the "free" gift you get with membership it is hardly a big expense !

Unbeliever, Belldandy, Inane Bartender (ho ho), Flanders (?!?) Goatboy, even Simon Says seems to have come and gone. People like Pro Evo & Badgerman, and Wookie only seem to post rarely and there are Mandy and Nath that are hardly ever seen nowadays.

Frankly I agree with all that he's said, I go into Life mainly to read peoples thoughts and read some decent topics but it has become full of **** just lately.
I've started to post less and less over the last week or so again down to the amount of inane posts that appear all over the forums I go into.
