The "Sony Games" forum, which includes Retro Game Reviews, has been archived and is now read-only. You cannot post here or create a new thread or review on this forum.
No, it won`t be as lond as the FOG version.
Why am I trying it out anyway?
The PS2 forum is a very interesting place to be, but it can also be a little quiet. I though perhaps if we had a topic with several hundred replies lurking at the top, things would look more popular.
Feel free to use the topic to talk about anything. Either the latest PS2 game, latest ideas for including some female star in a game etc... or even just the usual chat that happens all over.
As I expect this to fail, I`ve decided to spend a little while pushing up the replies. No spamming, just lots of nonsense :-)
Any help would be great, it`d be boring to have a whole topic with replies from only me.
Supra mats, the ivory ones, what do you I am....made of mone.....ah ;)
and the Supra mats - the ivory or really expensive and not worth it black ones?
:P
Ok, so I've bought some new wiper blades, a little wiper arm screw cover cap thingy and some car mats with the Supra logo on them ;)
Also today I have been buying, 2 x 256mb PC133 RAM, 1 x firewire card and a Canon MV300 digital camcorder....oops :D
After all that stress it turns out to be '1' stick of RAM!
Damn Computers.
So what did you buy for your car? (not a mobo preferably...;)
Swapped it over with another stick we've got here at work and it sprung into life.
Just been out and got my stuff from the garage, went & picked up another 2 sticks of RAM (1 for me) and then went and bought a Digital Camcorder ;)
One of the most expensive dinnertimes I've ever had....gulp!
>no email from Flanders YET!!
Hmm....
*Shakes Fist at Neil*
>XP Blah..
Yeh, should be okay now
As long as the command works - we should be rolling.
I wont be online tonight so your on your own ;)
That command will definitely work, just make sure you type it in correctly, trust me I've done that and wondered why it wouldn't work.
Once that's done just follow all the steps, XP is really good and the setup is pretty self explanatory.
Good luck!
I'm off to pickup some car mats, wiper blades and another ickle part for me car, laters peeps......oh and Neo, no email from Flanders YET!! ;)
I'll give it a go later this evening.
Edit your autoexec.bat file and between the @echo off line and the MSCDEX.EXE line put the following
SMARTDRV 4096 8192
Then save the file, reboot and then start the installation process.
Sorted :-)
