The "Sony Games" forum, which includes Retro Game Reviews, has been archived and is now read-only. You cannot post here or create a new thread or review on this forum.
No, it won`t be as lond as the FOG version.
Why am I trying it out anyway?
The PS2 forum is a very interesting place to be, but it can also be a little quiet. I though perhaps if we had a topic with several hundred replies lurking at the top, things would look more popular.
Feel free to use the topic to talk about anything. Either the latest PS2 game, latest ideas for including some female star in a game etc... or even just the usual chat that happens all over.
As I expect this to fail, I`ve decided to spend a little while pushing up the replies. No spamming, just lots of nonsense :-)
Any help would be great, it`d be boring to have a whole topic with replies from only me.
Cause I'm having some problems with mine at the moment, this being that whenever I manually enter new codes for a game, it says saving settings, but then when try to use them again (after reseting my console) it never loads them up.
Does anyone have any ideas why this might be?

I think it's still invite only at the moment, but I can send you one via your hotmail addy if you like? And then you just follow the usual instructions once you recieve it.

Ah .. you mean Google Earth? Yep, got that installed on a couple of PCs, one here at work and one at home, truely amazing piece of software. Tried it out the first day I was playing around with it and setup the trip we did a few years ago from Santa Monica to Las Vegas via Rose Bowl - Pasadena, flipping fantastic to watch it drive the route for you! :D
Does anyone know how often Google are updating the images over the cities and surrounding areas?

Hmm .. never thought about Freeola to be honest, may well give them a look :)

I thought about GMail but got no idea how you go about getting one?
> Whoops sorry then :S
No worries dude, just thought you'd better know before you put the proverbial foot in mouth :)
Finally the work network is up n running! No tinternet for two days, only just coped.
Re the mail thing, Gmail if you can get it is worth it, although i haven't had any spam in my hotmail account for a good six months now.
Also while you at it have a look at the G-world/ sat maps beta test very nice for just a play around :)

GMail would be a safe bet I think. I haven't had any junk mail since I've been signed up. Pretty much unlimited space too.
How about a Freeola 1000 one? To be honest I've had one of their email accounts for years and I only get junk mail from companies I've given my details to e.g. Necter, credit card.
I set one up for my husband recently and I'm fairly sure he hasn't received any junk at all.
I think its free, and its dead easy to set up.
