No one knows why Acclaim have sold this license, as it's probably their best. Burnout 2 was a cracking title, and the Crash mode was great fun. Checking the developer Criterion's site shows that it's not coming quite yet, they're working on other projects, but at least now when it does come, it'll come to Cube.
Hopefully it'll be a little longer lasting than BO2. I guess it's one of those games where they can't increase the difficulty that much.. But the original had survival mode and tough time attack targets, which made it harder to totally complete than number 2.
A high upper difficulty level or something, or even some tough time trial targets would be great. It's so much more fun when you have something to aim for.
In this case, it's alright, as it probably means the Gamecube will get Burnout 3, but I do get sick of them buying all the good licenses...
(and if they make it themselves, it's almost always crud)
