Just remembered this existed and was wondering, any news of a solid release date?

I know we haven't even had nay screens, but it was dated for February (or sometime near there) at E3. Hopefully we could get it sooner than you may think, or at least I'm hopeful we could.

Also, I never got a chance to play the N64 original (although I ordered it), is it any good? The other two games in the trilogy are two of the best games I've ever played, so I've got high hopes for it.

Whooo! etc.

Anyone want my Gamecube set for £1000, 53 games, all pretty decent, GB player, 2 wavebirds, 2 official controllers a third party pad and a hori pad.... plus 2 memory cards 251 and a memory card 59... plus a guide to Luigi's Mansion... and errr.... a GBA-GC connection cable....

Nah don't wanna sell.

I've just checked a 2nd Hand Price Guide Book, and it said:

Game Name: Paper Mario
Typical Buy Price: £50
Typical Sell Price: £30

So it looks like Icarus was £10 short.

I got it in late 2002 or early 2003, so it may well have changed in value now.

Damn, I sold it for £20 a while back... I see it's worth more now.

Super-Rare alright. I got the last one in the shop (AND the last one I've eevr seen in ANY shop) for £39.99 - not bad! If you can find it though, BUY IT! People claim that it's too "kiddy" for them, but it's actually a great game!

You won't be disappointed. Despite loving Metroid Prime so very, very much, M&L is now my favourite game to be release in 2003.

I plan to get Mario and Luigi soon... mainly because Paper Mario was so fantastic.

I had (well, still have!) Paper Mario. I got it for a steep £50 in game a few years back.

Absolutely stunning game.

I got Mario and Luigi on the GBA a few weeks back. They're similar, but I think Paper Mario was better in the sense that badges played a more important role, and it seemed to be a more solid RPG-style affair.

Having said that, they're both very good games.

If it's anything like Mario & Luigi, then no, it isn't like previous Mario titles. Have you ever played Mario RPG on the SNES? It's very similar to that, in a tunr-based kind of a way. The combat system was genius in the other two of the series, so I suppose Paper Mario will be the same.
