2 discs, took 26 minutes to install.
Ran through the tutorial and, no word of a lie, fell asleep.
So, is it any good?
Well...it's not terrible.
The graphics are incredible, The Swiss Alps recreated in stunning detail, Tokyo, Scotland etc.
Some of the exterior views are quite good.
Being a passenger sucks, you can look around and see out of the windows.
Driving? Well, a 12 minute tutorial to tell you to release the brakes, apply the throttle and some other levers.
uh-huh, thanks for that.
I did the passenger tutorial, collected passengers and finished the mission.
Rating at the end?
I broke the speed limit for a total of 9 minutes, subjected the passengers to "unacceptable levels of jostling" was "4mins 35 seconds late for 2 stations" and I failed because I smashed into the end of the station instead of stopping.
I want to say I hate this game. God knows I've hounded it for ages, but...I don't hate it.
It's not brilliant, it won't keep me up for months...but it's...well...nice.
relaxing, no guns, no enemies.
I don't know, maybe I am getting old after all.
I'm off to see meh woman, but I'll be playing it more tomorrow night, to see what it's like in a proper game.
(Ok, feel free to taunt and mock me, god knows I would)
Multiplayer? They're talking about that for a sequel. God knows how.
So I played it for 2hrs, most of which were tutorials.
The manual is a Acrobat file, and is massive.
Don't know, I'm hammering Max Payne and Cossacks - but this isn't a bad game...just...well...a train game.
*FM dons his yellow nylon anorak and stands with notebook and map at the ready, the official Train Spotter to Goatboy*

Tell me... in Scotland... well let me explain.
Today I was Glasso Cow in another fine Scottish day. I got best of Blur, nearly got run over (again). Sly git of a mate bought a guitar that I desperatly want... Fender Strat... lovely, Jonnny Greenwood's :D.
Anyway coming home on train... 2 secs out Glasgow central and train grinds to halt. We wait 20 mins on track... go back to Glasgow central then off to East Kilbride again... then half way throw us off the train at Busby. Goes away we need to wait 30 mins then finally get train... cheeky gits, we needed to rush off train at Busby as it was about to leave back to Glasgow and mate left wallet... :P to trains.
By any chance were you drving this one :D. Jostling? :D HA
