Someone raised an interesting point though on gamefaqs the other day about this. When or if the HD gets released around the world will that result in games companies rushing out bug riddled games knowing they can just patch them up later with downloads?

i think 40 gb as you say is much more realistic
i think xbox have a 8 gb hhd and it will probaly be one of thoose you can't upgrade with normal hdd unlike the xbox (boooo)

It should be out in March in the US.
Theoretically it's an improvement to games and the console.
OPSM2 are very skeptical about it getting a European release before the PS3.
