...they can't do that a stadard hhd only costs about a pound a gig and sony aren't gonna give us a 100 gig hhd are they??

Well it's priced at $100 over in America and seeing as they usually just translate that amount into pounds i wouldn't be surprised to see the HDD priced at 100 pounds or likely even more. That'll probably be without FFXI pre-installed like the Americans will get as well.

Well no not really i would have expected them to do that anyway. I doubt people would be too happy just having a bloody big memory card attached to their console and having to pay around 100 quid for it.

I know that the HD can be utilised by games like Resi Evil Outbreak. Used to reduce the loading times between parts. (You know the annoying door opening parts)

A waste releasing it over here I think, a few games will *need* the HD according to future plans but I can't really see a need for it. Better saved and used as standard with the PS3 I think.

May be wrong but I don't think there is a 40 MB hard disk, think the original poster gotmixed up and meant a 40 Gb HD.

really i think if they did actually bring out a 40MB hhd i would laugh myself into a grave and buy an xbox (i cannot fit an xbox in my room)

I believe you can connect your network adapter to the HDD.

ah there getting clever cause you can only fit a hhd or a broadband connection not both so your stuck!

probaly some extra thing so you can hold more will arrive shortly after.
