Why is it I like Nintendo?

(I don’t know you tell me)

Shut up you! Anyway we give many a reason why we say one is better than the other is the differences between the Nintendo and Sony games.

(Yeah Playstation games rule and Nintendo’s well don’t)

Erm ok. The games play differently. Playstation games are more serious, Adult (not mature) and realistic and Nintendo’s are more well fun!

(Are you saying the Playstation isn’t fun?)

No you see Nintendo tends to break the rules of game creating a bit. If Sony was making a Tennis game they would make a game in the style of Virtual Tennis but Nintendo make a brilliant Tennis game that is very different to a normal Tennis game a.k.a Mario Tennis. Mario Tennis is a pure laugh, hit your opponents, the ring shot mode, Luigi crying it is gaming brilliance and good fun but that’s because Nintendo have no restrictions if they believe there should be a court with weapons and it shakes with Lava underneath they will make one but Sony will try sticking to the rules.

(Sony has “fun” “unrealistic” games as well!)

Perfect true but nowhere near as much! It is a breath of fresh air when the Playstation gets something different i.e. WWF Smackdown 2. It is insane fun! But if you get thrown of a Hell in the cell you get straight back up? Not even the actual WWF do that! But it bends the rules and it is fun to play! It works the same with Nintendo when we get an Adult or realistic title such as Perfect Dark or Resident Evil 2 we go mad because it is something new! Pikmin will be great but I am looking more forward to Eternal Darkness, as it is something I am not as used to!

(So what you are saying is that Sony’s games are sticking to the rules of life with the Adult and realistic titles but Nintendo break them and make there own rules such as why should an RPG be like this or why does Football have to obey by rules? Why can’t we pelt them with shells? Nintendo is unrealistic and it isn’t an accident it is so games can do more! Sony on the other hand have realistic fun games, they are enjoyable and more believable like it is real! They don’t have paper characters moving around a 3D world.)

Exactly and the reason why I prefer Nintendo over Sony is because the insane games designed by the Big N are games are prefer to realistic games!

(And I prefer Sony because games that feel more real are more enjoyable as I honestly believe I can be having this fun!)

Exactly!

(Yeah I think I agree!)

No were not supposed to agree!

(Oh yeah…)

Here is my grasp of what me and Dringo actually agree with:

The N64 has more unrealistically fun games than the Playstation.

These games are fun because they are designed well and are very good examples of their genre.

Despite their style, some games will always be rubbish.

The styles of game on the PS2 and Gamecube will be less segregated than they have been in previuous console generations.

Gameplay is still what makes games fun!!!!!!!

Is that about right??

Ridge Racer 64 and Wipeout 64 are PSone games so they don't count.

Now, you have succeeded in naming 6. Off the top of my head I reckon I could name 30, and is I dig out an old magazing I could probably manage twice that. Dringo, this is a losing battle.

I've always known Nintendo games are unrealistic but Sony has a lot more than you'd think. Most of the big name titles contain utter twaddle, but Nintendo is just twaddle overload for me. If you wanted a realistic driving sim on the Nintendo you'd be screwed. If you wanted a reralistic jetski sim you'd b screwed. There's always something that spoils it like tokens or energy or something like that. Why can't they just produce a normal game?

Ok 1 man war! The idea is that Nintendo's weired some say childish way of making games is a style that enables games to break the rules, bend reality, fall into lava and your fine in Mario Kart but it just doesnt happen! It is unrealistic but fun!

I am aware the PS2 have these games to a lot in fact but it is Nintendo that dominate the department. Sony and its developers dominate the adult and realistic department it doesnt amke these games anyless fun just in a different way.

I'm sure if Nintendo got the 3rd party support sony have mind Nintendo will have just as many realistic and mature titles but thats a different story.

I am aware i have stereotyped a console for its genre and so i will crawl away but remmember if i maybe expressed myself more carefully i would of avoided this!
