This has only started to happen though since I got GT3, so does this mean i have been over playing or pressing down on the sticks too hard. Has anyone else got this problem? and can i get them replaced?
Its really annoying when youre playing ssx and the grab locks on, and then you pile into the floor.
My original pad did this, then i bought a second pad and took the original one back in the new ones packaging, but now another one does it occasionally too.

The N64 stick IS cheap. The Sony analogue sticks are far superior and I'm not just saying that because I've got a PS2. I had an N64, I was a "die hard ninty" but even I have to admit, the N64 stick was complete pants. You had to be soooo careful with it not to break it.
I was REAL careful with mine, they stayed fine and then a couple of my littlte brothers friends had a go. They were only marginally less careful and PING broken!!!!
N64 pads suck!
How can you say the D-pad gives more control? That's nuts!
