Anyone up for some Live races (later today or another time) or a offline time trial contest ?
No-one on here seems to have mentioned PGR2 for ages, there must be some racers among you, I've only had it a couple of days and apart from the lack of adjustable settings it's definitely a GT3 beater.

Post your gamertag and suggest a day/time and we'all try to arrange something. Prehaps we can make it a weekly thing ?

PS. where are you all ranked on the overall Live leaderboard, think I'm about 79,000th.

I think you have two separate rankings, offline and online, which have to be built up separately. Best get a PGR2 pro to clarify that though.

You can't be that poor, I posted up below what I had on Saturday, have done a few more events since then. I've only been working my way through the steel medals just to get the feel of the cars and the handling.

How do you get your rankings up on Live? Do any of your points from the game count towards it or is it only what you achieve on Live?

Sorry, thick moment here :)

Well that seems to be the answer, ah well, it's obviously not a fully blown PC then :)

Hopefully I'll be able to make a bit more headway into doing all the steel medals tonight.

Could some of you post up what your Kudos rankings are on the World Series, just so I've got some idea of how far I'm behind? :)

The clock will usually reset if the power supply has been off for a certain time. If you leave the plug socket switched on it'll save the time for you. Stupid I know, you'd think they would put a clock battery on the mobo!

Ok, I'll try that out. If you turn it off, does it not stop the feedback?

Hmm .... I'd have thought they'd have had a built in battery on the mobo to keep this info stored. Does yours do this everytime you switch on or if you unplug it from the wall, ie cutting all power to the machine?

I left mine plugged in at the wall and just switched it off and left it for about 3 hours, when I came back it booted straight up into the game with no prompt.

The wall socket has no switch so I'm presuming some power must have been going to the unit ......

Controller buzzing, it seems to over do this on PGR2, go to controller options and it will tell you to press Y (I think) to switch vibration off.

I also have to reset my clock whenever switching on, don't know why.

Right I've got my xbox pack and have played PGR2 for about 5 hours so far, just been working my way through the Kudos Ranking. I've got to Kudos Rank 13 with 96205 points, 36 Tokens, 33 cars of 102 so far.

I've got Steel Medals on all of the series upto Sports Coupe Series, completed that this morning.

Very impressive game and really enjoying it.

Got a couple of questions, not about PGR2 though.

1. My controller is buzzing, does this all the time just driving along, seems to stop when I hit something but I can hear it when I'm driving normally. Is this normal?

2. When I first turned the xbox on, I ran through the setup [as you do] and set the time and date, sometimes when I turn it on it asks me again for this info, any ideas on why this is doing it?

Cheers guys and gals :)
