Anyone up for some Live races (later today or another time) or a offline time trial contest ?
No-one on here seems to have mentioned PGR2 for ages, there must be some racers among you, I've only had it a couple of days and apart from the lack of adjustable settings it's definitely a GT3 beater.

Post your gamertag and suggest a day/time and we'all try to arrange something. Prehaps we can make it a weekly thing ?

PS. where are you all ranked on the overall Live leaderboard, think I'm about 79,000th.

I'd use cheats to get the best multiplayer bits of games I only bought for multiplayer, I haven't done this with PGR2 though as it's pretty good offline.

and Borat... the D-PAD!?

Oh, apparently UbiSoft are combatting the AR cheats with a new patch that'll stop Molotov's etc.

Someone's also found a new glitch on the Old City map so beware.

Actually I have used the official codes for Midnight Club 2 to get all the cars, this was because I only bought it for the online play and the offline isn't worth trawling through IMO.

I haven't played Rainbow Six 3 for months.

the left analogue stick on my official pad doesn't work properly, and I ain't using my cheap plasticky free joypad for it, as I'll just get my head kicked in. Luckily I can play PGR2 with the d-pad.

These people who use action replays are indeed sad people. I have played about 10 people who had the speed 12 over the past week, and every one of them has done the same thing - piled into the first corner and not been seen for the rest of the race.

what is the point?

It'll take me forever to get that car, I know, but I'd rather do it fair and square than cheat. People who cheat should be barred from competing on Live. perhaps there could be some sort of trigger built into the software that detects cheaters, and stops them competing, unless they delete their saved games and start from scratch.

Still, I get tremendous satisfaction just kicking peoples ass's with cars that are several classes below theirs.

It's definetly working better on Rainbow Six 3 then it was a few months ago. But wherever there's stats, there's always gonna be goons using Action Replay to increase their kill count, and also as the stats don't update till the end of the round people leave the game when they die then rejoin the server.

Sad individuals.

*Goes to check PGR2 rank*

113,998. :D

To clinical to demand more than an hour or so's play in a week if you ask me.

I think the system works if you look at people's stats in a match it reorders the ELO everytime to show who's killed the best people, trouble is the 'overall' scoreboards are still stuffed and occasionally you get people with 0 ELO being at the top!

Generally though it works on a small scale.

They attempted too on Rainbow Six 3 but it all went rather t*ts up.
