Ironicly I got bored of my PS2 and bought an Xbox.
Another good point for the Xbox is the noise of the fan, it makes the PS2 sound like a lawnmower in comparison.

That's kind of what I did. I traded my PS2 in for an Xbox on the launch day and haven't had any regrets yet!
I liked the PS2 when I had it, but at the moment there is nothing going for it that can tempt me back to buying one.
